The Cambodian-Vietnamese War Memorial in Siem Reap, Cambodia, is a poignant tribute to the soldiers and civilians who lost their lives during the Cambodian-Vietnamese War, a conflict that took place from the late 1970s to the early 1980s. This memorial stands as a symbol of remembrance and gratitude for the Vietnamese soldiers who helped overthrow the Khmer Rouge regime, which was responsible for the genocide of nearly two million Cambodians.

We explored a traditional handicraft workshop, and the final products on display were truly impressive. Our guide, Tong was very friendly and informative. We visited a shrine and monasteries, where we learned more about Buddhism. Had a walk to the old local market and pub street to experience the busy daily life of locals.
