Really enjoyable day - only 8 people on the trip so lots of chance to get know each other and chat to our helpful guide, Danny. The olive oil tasting surpassed expectations, and each of the places visited was different and really interesting. Would recommend!

This tour from Brindisi to Alberobello, Locorotondo, and lastly the beautiful white city of Ostuni is a must while you're in Brindisi, excellent communication from the day before the actual tour. Our guide, Danny, was 'exceptional'. Warm, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. On arrival Danny introduced all of us to each other, we then set off. Each stop was perfectly balanced. Danny provided information into the design and cultural background of each region. Once in Alberobello an olive oil tasting was included. A interesting and flavorful experience that gave us insight into one of Puglia’s most important products. Also while in Alberobello Danny gave our group explanations about the trulli houses, their history, and their unique architectural function, at other stops he gave insights,as to the history and architecture of the churches and cathedrals. Danny's knowledge brought interest to every site, including the best place for gelato in town. It was also lovely to see how warmly he was greeted by locals wherever we went, it really added to the charm of the tour. Lunch was a delicious Apulian experience, shared with a great group of fellow travellers, which made the day even more enjoyable. This tour is great for couples, grown up families, and solo travellers. A few tips: It can get very hot and shade is not always available, so make sure to bring plenty of water, sunscreen, a hat, and wear sensible-comfortable footwear. There is a lot of walking, some is uphill and on uneven surfaces and there are steps in many places also. This tour offers the perfect mix of culture, history, food, and local charm. An excellent experience with a fantastic guide. Highly recommended. Thanks again Danny.
