It is much walking, but most surfaces were flat and worked for us. I use canes for mobility. Walked just shy of 7 miles. It was a very informative and moving experience for us. Viator’s tours are among the best we have done.

Anne-Sophie is a wonderful guide. She is animated and tells history with feeling. This is a great tour to hit the D-Day highlights. This was our third trip to Normandy and we learned several new bits of history.

I agree with the other reviewers. Laurence was fantastic. Explains the history behind each place of interest and also the build up of why it occurred. I would definitely seek him out when doing a tour. Sites were remarkable and moving. Difficult to image the fear and sacrifice these young men and women faced to offer us our freedoms.

One day tour visiting Saint Mere-Eglise, Utah and Omaha beaches, and the Normandy American Cemetery. We had a wonderful tour guide and the day flew by. There is really no time to visit museums, other than a short amount of time at the American Normandy cemetery. The tour picked us up just outside the port, and brought us back to the ship with a couple hours to spare. This tour was perfect for us, and we would highly recommend to those that only have a day to spend learning about D-Day.
