What To Expect
It is the third largest lake in Guatemala in which the Isla de Flores is located, 10 minutes before boarding the bus you will have time to take pictures of the memory in the YO AMO PETÉN Sign, here begins The tour where we will pass through small towns until we reach the main entrance of Tikal National Park where we will descend from the bus to buy the tickets for admission to the Park

The main entrance of Tikal National Park, at this point the park rangers will carry out the first ticket control, from here begins the reservation of Tikal National Park. Tickets can also be purchased online at the Guatemalan government website https://boletos.culturaguate.com/ Two tickets are purchased to enter the park one is Q.150.00 per person and the other Q.100.00 At this point we can make use of bathrooms, then we follow the route of 16 kilometers more until we reach the visitor center.

5.00Tour was great. Our guide was super friendly, funny and fluent in English so that was nice. We had quite a downpour and he kept us in good spirits! Took us through the park and gave us a little history lesson everywhere we stopped. Would definitely do again!

5.00Stepping into an ancient world was so easy with this your. Our guide Edwin was full of resources and knowledge and you could tell he had a great respect for the area and its history. The bus ride was comfy and air conditioned. He explained the ticket system well and allowed for us to stop at an ATM if required. There were lots of opportunities to explore on our own and with the group and it ended with the perfect sunset. I can't tell you how beautiful the day was. Definitely worth it.

5.00Lengthy bus drive, but that was fine since it gives you opportunity to see the countryside and local living. Lots of walking, and sunset view is on top of pyramid so you do have to climb quite a few steps. Good tour, tour guide was very friendly with lots of Informative Mayan history. Saw a good amount of wildlife, including spider monkeys and birds. Obvious must do if you are coming to Flores./Peten. Sunset was beautiful.

5.00Lloyd was a knowledgeable and funny tour guide. He knew a lot about the ruins, Mayan culture and the wildlife. He ran a tight ship so no one got lost on this nighttime tour. My wife did the daytime version a few years ago and preferred this sunset one. There were fewer people and the temperature was much better. The sunset was packed and everyone complied with the ask for silence. On the way back Lloyd took time to show us some tarantulas, stars and the ruins in the dark. We have seen several ruins and Tikal is the best.

5.00This was such a great tour! I booked it within 2 hours and was off at 12pm. I sent a whatsapp msg as I wasnt sure if I was supposed to buy the park tickets online - they replied fast with a link and pictures (do this, saves so much time buying tickets online). There is a lunch stop 5mins before the park for foos and it comes out quick. Our guide Lewis is a local from Tikal and very passionate about his role (and funny). You get a good breakdown of the history, see wildlife in between and also get ample time for yourself to go exploring and taking photos with Lewis nearby to look after your bags. The temples are magnificent and the park didn't feel too packed. There's a bit of walking involved so bring closed comfy shoes Thanks alao to the driver who kept us safe. Great day out exploring Tikal!

5.00The ruin is beautiful and tons of history. Too bad we couldn’t see the sunset due to the rain. The guide, Edwin was very passionate about what he is doing. He shared a lot of stories and history about the mayan. Definitely recommend the tour if u visit Guatemala.
