When we arrived at the meeting point we were instructed to, we were met with confusion as they didn’t know we were coming. After a 30 min wait, someone came to get us from a different company and walked us down to a boat. We were given dirty and sandy snorkeling equipment and my daughter was forced to use flippers that were too small and hurting her feet. We were packed on a boat like sardines and it was difficult to put on our flippers. I asked for a life jacket and was provided a broken jacket so they tied it on me. When I asked for a different one they told me they were all broken, however I saw other people with jackets that were not broken. The snorkel masks my daughter was given didn’t seal to her face so she had to stay on the boat most of the time and I had to stay with her. The roof of the boat is low and I hit my head very hard. It was overall just a terrible experience. It was better snorkeling on our own

40 people on small boat. No room to swim without getting flipper in the face...have to stay in small group area. Heaps of other groups also in water and boats everywhere. Would recommend private tour as you don't get long in the water. Only very small section of bottom of boat is glass so if U not sitting right Infront of 80 cm glass bottom, you won't see anything. Staff friendly...an hour on Gili meno at restaurant and food not great.ost spots only 30-50 meters off shore so could do yourself.

Unfortunately this snorkel tour goes to all the same spots as other tours which makes it crowded and less enjoyable. I spent more time watching out for other snorkellers than watching fish and turtles. You also don't stay near the boat, instead they drop you off and then you swim back to the boat. But they don't explain that, or how long the swim will be, or if there are safety concerns (eg we got caught in strong currents at one location). Seeing the turtles was amazing, but it felt very rushed. Suggest getting a private boat instead.

Do not bother booking with Viator. Book locally. We booked in advance with Viator. No one knew any about our booking. Took a few calls calls and over 20 minutes to resolve. Viator customer support were of no hope. They just text me the meeting details! Booking locally would have been cheaper as well. Eventually was put on a tour by the local company, although the itinerary was different to what we had booked
