Batu Caves

Visit And Take Photo To The Most important place in Kuala Lumpur, When you Come to Malaysia. Over 400 million years old, these limestones were organically formed, creating what is famously known as Batu Caves today. The temple, which is nestled in the heart of the cave, was built in the year 1920. For over a century now, Hindus from all over have come together during festivals to celebrate and pray as a community. From its magnificently-built shrines and statues set against a captivating background of limestone hills, Batu Caves is definitely a sight to behold, and a destination not to be missed. One of the most prominent and unique trademarks of Batu Caves has to be the golden statue of the Hindu God, Lord Murugan, which stands proud and tall at the foot of the stairs. Stretching over 140 feet in height, this outstanding sculpture is a proud symbol of the Hindu temple in the caves.

Dataran Merdeka

Visit & Photo Stop at Independence Square (Dataran Merdeka) is a square located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is situated in front of the Sultan Abdul Samad Building. It was formerly known as the Selangor Club Padang or simply the Padang (meaning "field" in Malay) and was used as the cricket green of the Selangor Club (now the Royal Selangor Club). It was here that the Union Flag was lowered and the Malaysian flag hoisted for the first time at midnight on 31 August 1957. Since then, the Independence Square has been the usual venue for the annual Independence Day Parade.

Zaidi was very friendlly and professional. He explained a lot and helped us concerning the route planing. The price was ok, too. Fresh drinking water was available.- what do you want more? coming back to Kuala Lumpur we would take him once again

I would highly recommend using Zaidi... who stepped in to save the day :) We had originally booked a whistle stop trip with Rosli, and had only about 5hrs between our ship docking in Klang and then having to board again. Unfortunately, Rosli had to cancel at the last minute as his previous passenger was delayed at the airport (these things happen). To his credit though, Rosli arranged for Zaidi to take us. At first I was a little apprehensive, but Zaidi already knew of our hard timings and what we wanted to see. Zaidi has self taught himself English by watching movies and I must say he has an excellent grasp of the language, very talkative and passed on great information to us along the way. Zaidi never made us feel rushed, and gave us plenty of time to see Batu Caves, before taking us in to KL so we could see the Petronas Towers. We even had time for a couple of drinks at the Skybar and simply sent Zaidi a WhatsApp about 10mins before we were finished there, so he could meet us at the front door and get us back to our ship in plenty of time. Thanks again Zaidi.

Zaidi was waiting for us when our cruise ship arrived in Port Klang. He is a skilled driver, thoughtful guide, and a pleasure to talk with. He maneuvered around difficult traffic jams on a holiday weekend, made sure that we were ahead of the big tour busses, and brought us to many more interesting places than a tour bus group could ever go. He is very flexible. If you spot something that interests you, just say so and he will know how to get there quickly. Since he has a licensed taxi, he is insured unlike many private tour guides. Most highly recommended!
