Visiting Srebrenica is not like any other experience and it was important for us to do it with someone like Almir who - as we were driving up the winding roads that slowly took us there - provided us with the right amount of information and some very precious context. If only people learnt from their mistakes and past history… thanks Meet in Bosnia for this wonderful opportunity. We hope more and more people will get the chance to be accompanied by you throughout this painful but needed journey! Eleonora & Marco

Majored in archeology and a big fan of car rallies, our Emir was a very knowledgeable and skillful guide and driver to take us from Sarajevo to Srebrenica. Having visited many of holocaust related in Poland and Germany, I had very similar devastating feelings in different senses after the visit, which I wish to share with those who don’t know what happened in July 1995

Tour was exceptional! The guide is sincerely interested in that historical period. Almir told us many things about the situation in the Balkans in the 1990s and showed the places where significant frames (photo, video, including those which were used in the Hague tribunal later) were taken. He recommended many deep and honest books about Srebrenica and international justice. Tour was polite, with many viewpoints (UN, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, NATO, officials all over the world) and no accusations on certain sides. Almir constantly claimed: there are no bad nations, there are bad people among every nation. That day for me is reminder: If someone tries to convince me (and others) that the certain nation/race/social group/etc is "bad", "imperfect" or "harmful", it is always political. And mass hatred never leads to good consequences. It is always blood and eternal grief.

I have no words to describe how incredible the tour to Srebrenica was! I learned so much about the history of the genocide and also about the strength of the Bosniak people. Everything was made even more special by the guide, Almir, who explained the entire history of the Bosnian war masterfully, in addition to being very kind and attentive. Book this tour and ask for Almir to be your guide!

Srebrenica is very impressive and should have been seen to better understand Bosnia. I was led by Amir, a veteran, who was able to explain everything about the Bosnian war to me in great detail and also personally and to answer every question well. That was very moving in part. I highly recommend it.

We had a truly special experience today on the Srebrenica Tour. Our guide, Almir, is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to the history of the Bosnian War. We were treated wonderfully from the morning pickup to the evening drop-off. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to gain a deeper understanding of this dark chapter of history.

I had the privilege of joining an incredibly moving tour to Srebrenica a couple of weeks ago with Meet Bosnia Tours. From start to finish, the organisation was smooth and effortless, and the preparatory videos shared in advance were invaluable in helping us better understand the genocide of 1995 before visiting the site itself. Enis was an outstanding guide, providing thoughtful historical and political context throughout the journey while also giving us the space to explore the Memorial Centre at our own pace. The conversations we had along the way were deep, reflective, and often challenging in the best possible sense. Altogether, it was a profoundly emotional and educational day, one that only deepened my fascination with and love for Bosnia. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough.
