What To Expect

This full-day adventure offers a combination of nature, relaxation, and authentic Dominican culture. Upon arrival at the departure point in Las Cañitas, you will board a boat and set off across Samaná Bay. The first stop is the Humpback Whale Sanctuary, where you will have the opportunity to observe these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. This portion of the tour lasts approximately 45 minutes. After the whale watching experience, the tour continues to Cayo Levantado, also known as Bacardi Island. This tropical paradise is known for its white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with a delicious beachfront lunch featuring fresh seafood and traditional Dominican dishes. For the next few hours, you will have time to relax on the beach, swim in the turquoise waters, or explore the island at your own pace. A designated semi-private area with beach chairs will be available for your comfort. As the afternoon comes to an end, the group will board the boat for the return journey to Las Cañitas. From there, transportation will be provided back to your hotel. "Starting April 1st, this activity will no longer include whale watching"
