What To Expect
Puligny-Montrachet
We will drive through the vineyards and ancient wine villages of Côte de Beaune to the great Grand Crus of Montrachet, where will stop to discuss terroir and classification of our wines.
Santenay
Visit an Independent Winegrower, meeting in their vineyard where they will explain their Domaine. Walk to the Cave where you will taste 6 wines with the grower - a Chardonnay and Pinot Noir selection from Puligny Montrachet, Chassagne Montrachet and Santenay, including Premier Crus.

5.0013 years since my last Gourmet Tour with Burgundy Discovery. Fantastic experience again. The format hasn’t changed much. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Excellent quality wines tasted at the 3 Domaines visited. The vineyard owners and staff were so enthusiastic explaining the wine making process. Our tour guide Dylan was exceptional. His knowledge and attention to detail is amazing. We learnt so much even though we had visited Burgundy before. The midday traditional meal at Le Globe restaurant Meursault was lovely, beautifully presented, paired with the appropriate wines chosen by the sommelier. I cannot thank Dylan and the Burgundy Discovery team enough for another wonderful fun day. If you want a real insight into Burgundy wines look no further than Burgundy Discovery.

5.00I can’t say enough great things about this all day wine tour and the guide, Thomas. I booked it because I was traveling solo and wanted a day with some company in addition to having a knowledgeable wine guide. I lucked out on both! Thomas was incredible. He was personable and it felt like I had a long lost friend showing me around Burgundy. His personality helped make the rest of the group bond and by the end we all felt like friends. Oh, and the wine! The selections for the tastings were spectacular, aided by Thomas’s knowledge. It was a highlight of my trip! So glad I booked this.

5.00We had an amazing day. Thomas imparted a wealth of knowledge about Burgundy and its wines. He was very attuned to our interests and tried to tailor the day to provide the best experience for us. The choice of tastings was perfect and Thomas took the time to show us special sites along the way. His enthusiasm and humor made it so enjoyable. We can’t recommend Thomas and this tour enough!

5.00Our vineyard tour of Burgundy wine country was A++! From the moment Dylan picked us up at our airbnb, it was first class all the way! Dylan was so knowledgeable about the area, the wines, the vineyards, the winemakers, and the history….we learned so much. Each tasting we attended was superb and the people were wonderful! It will be an excruciating wait for our wine to be shipped back to us in Alabama!!!

5.00Thomas was an outstanding guide whose level of knowledge about Burgundy wine, the region and the small villages along the way made the tour more than we could have expected. It was amazing to be able to slowly go through the different villages and learn a bit of the history of how Burgundy became what it is today. The three wineries we went to made us feel like family and provided an immersive experience focused not on only their wines but the region as a whole. The tastings were phenomenal and gave us a real sense of the variations between plots and locations and how every bottle is slightly different. We would recommend this tour for anyone wanting to learn about Burgundy beyond just tasting wine.

5.00Highly recommend. Full day event with a delightful lunch and visit to three different wine houses in both Beaune and Cote de Nuits Dylan, our guide, made the trip for us. He was highly knowledgeable about wine, the wine making process, and the region. His passion was evident. What we really liked about Dylan was his ability to read us. It wasn't just a full day lecture but more like a comfortable interaction and discussion with a friend. Well curated trip that we would book again.

5.00My husband and I spent a day with Hubert touring a few wineries in Cote d'Beaune and Cote d'Nuit. It was an amazing experience. Being from the region, Hubert was so knowledgeable about the intricacies of the Burgundy wine region, and he was clearly well known and respected by the winemakers we met. His private car was clean and comfortable. We loved the restaurant that was chosen for lunch, and felt that we learned a lot and also tasted some really amazing wines throughout the process. Highly recommend!
