Laurent (“Wally”) was an excellent guide, perfectly bilingual, very knowledgeable and flexible in terms of itinerary and schedule. Whether it was luck or just skill on Laurent’s part, all of us (three unrelated couples) had the chance to visit sites relevant to each of us personally as well as hitting the major Canadian sites. Although he gave us a very full day and a thorough visit, there is much too much to cover in just one day so we’ll definitely come back and ask for Wally again! Thank you for this wonderful, personally satisfying and moving visit.

Full day tour which takes you to the four landing sites on Juno beach. Our guide Jeremy was extremely knowledgeable about the Canadian involvement in the battle of Normandy. In our van, we followed the route the soldiers took on their way to liberate Caen and the Carpiquet airstrip, with many memorable stops along the way. There was a stop at the Juno Beach Centre which included a tour of the grounds/bunkers by a Canadian Guide. We were also given considerable time to view the exhibits inside the centre on our own. We enjoyed lunch at a local restaurant. Food was good and reasonably priced. There was also a stop at Canada House. Would recommend for anyone that is interested in the contributions of Canadian Soldiers during WWII and the battle of Normandy. The small group of 8 was perfect. Van was comfortable. Would highly recommend this tour!
