What To Expect
Drive towards Ralún. Join a gravel road accessing the Vicente Perez Rosales National Park. Saddle up.Ride for 1.5 hours along a trail which will be ascending gradually entering the template forest. La Viguería and Volcán Cayutué are the principal cones. Amazing geology and nothing to fear. At least for the last 3 centuries.... Relax, while the guide and baqueano will be preparing a simple but delicious lunch on the grill. The return is the same way back. 3.00 hours ride. 1,30" drive from Pto Varas. o/w No experience required. Meal:Grilled meat sandwich, snacks. You bring: Bottle of water. Water is safe to drink from the source.Warm clothes according to weather and time of the year. Comfortable pants for horse riding, trekking shoes, rain jacket, sun and skin protection (sunglasses, hat) small bag for carrying camera and personal items. Guide: English knowledgeable in native flora and fauna. Safety: Emergency equipment and first aid kit. Meals: Asado Grilled meat sandwich, snacks.

5.00This was an amazing adventure on horseback. The guides were patient while we learned how to ride Western style and the trails were beautiful. Lunch was cooked fresh at the lakefront and the views were stunning! Maria is the best host I've ever had.

4.00We had a great time with Maria. She was able to problem solve quickly after something came up outside of her control. The horse farm we visited outside of Fruitier was owned by such a nice family. They got us in at the last min for a ride through their farm and you could tell the owner loved and cared for his horses and his property so much. We made some great memories!

5.00One of those days that I will remember for a lifetime. Ride was through stunning scenery, with Gaucho on amazing surefooted horses with Maria as our expert knowledgeable guide. A wonderful experience!
