I did the Full Day Cerro Tronador: Eternal Snow and Hanging Glaciers with Gray Line Argentina. I booked it through Viator. It was the best tour I did in Bariloche. We also had perfect weather for it. A not too cold day in winter with blue skies. Crispy, cosy and so lovely. The scenery was just breathtaking. There is a lot of driving but it wasn't too bad and we had stops along the way. Stunning. I was picked up around 09:00 and back at the hotel by 18:30. The tour was exactly as advertised so you knew what was included and what was not. Make sure to have ARS cash. Entrance fee to Nahuel Huapi National Park cost ARS 20,000 if you are not a resident of Argentina (August 2025). Bring ID too. For lunch, suggest bringing snacks or a sandwich. The place we stopped at had more hearty meals. They had snacks too. Coffee was good. Very relaxing tour and easy walk at the base of Cerro Tronador. Guide was very good. I was the only English speaker but he was bilingual and made sure I was looked after. I learnt a lot. The tour was not rushed with adequate time at each stop. You won't have reception for quite a bit of the journey but who cares! Enjoy the scenery. Gray Line Argentina were easy to communicate with via WhatsApp and everything was confirmed to me in advance. Highly recommend.

The organizer of the trip was soon sending us reminders until the moment of picking us up. The Guide was also attentive and recommended. It's important to carry cash, the phone signal is not very good. Landscapes are postcard-worthy. A pleasant and serene day is spent in nature.

It was a good, well-organized tour. I did feel there were too many long stops. We had a 2-hour lunch break at a place that did not accept credit cards, which I was not made aware of beforehand. And we also stayed an hour at a small green lake. Lovely, but 15 minutes would have been fine, especially given the cold and rain. And bathroom stops of 30 minutes each.

Excellent experience with an excellent tour guide. The narrative was in Spanish and English. Plenty of time given at all tourist stop, bathroom breaks and meal stops too. Weather could be better, it rain part of tour but not bad. Bus driver was very professional.

This is an excellent tour & thoroughly recommended. The guide speaks in Spanish & English. You see some beautiful things. It would have been better to spend more time actually at the glacier. We had 35mins there which wasn’t long enough. Then 40 minutes at a waterfall which could have been 30 with an extra 10 minutes at the glacier. Be aware the 20000 entrance fee of the park is not included or lunch. An excellent day out.

Incredible experience all along the way to Tronador. Stops at very beautiful points made the trip not exhausting. Despite the heat (yes, it was very sunny and warm on 29/12/24), we were able to appreciate all the landscapes. The Sissa guide, always very practical and attentive, passed a lot of important information, in addition to relevant historical aspects.

You are picked up at the hotel at approximately 9 am. They take you all the way to the Black Blizzard and Cerro Tronador. With different stops at panoramic points, some to take photos and others with more free time to tour or take some mattes. It is a very comfortable option to go as the road by car is complicated and the excursion leaves you free times. Admission to the park is charged of 7000 for Argentines and 20000 for foreigners. Mario de Natural Travel guide very good, with good vibes and explains many interesting things about the road and the area.
