A group of five of us have just completed a five day cycle tour with Gordon. I cannot rate it highly enough. Gordon designed the tour especially for us after asking what we would prefer to do. Most of us were not very experienced riders, just doing one cycle trip each year. The bikes were very comfortable and great to ride. The scenery was stunning and there was plenty of opportunities to stop, enjoy the view and take photos etc. The accommodation was excellent and suited our group perfectly. Gordon was very knowledgeable regarding the trails and was able to tailor the tour to our abilities as the tour went on. I can highly recommend Gordon and R and R Adventures. It was a fabulous experience.

Five of us have just an awesome five days cycling trails on the Firth of Thames, through the Karangahake Gorge and along the Waikato River. Fantastic organisation by R & R Adventures with excellent accommodation, catering, and options to suit skill levels and our wishes. Thanks Gordon & Co, it was everything we wanted and more.

Had a great adventure on the last day of our holiday break on an e-bike tour of the #karangahakegorge. Loved riding through the mine tunnel and seeing the mine facilities. Gordon from R&R Adventures contributed his invaluable experience and info to make this such a fun experience.

Gordon and his wife are amazing, Gordon leads such an interesting trip, he's very patient with slow riders and the lunch that was included in the trip was fantastic, lovely wraps or rolls you make as you like with home baking, tea, coffee and cold drinks offered. 100% recommend this day trip for anyone wanting to explore the Karangahake Gorge. Thank you so much for an excellent day out.

The bike ride was fun, scenic and just challenging enough, The outfitter, R and R Adventures,, was well organized, had good equipment and offered tasty snacks, lunch and drinks. A brief visit to Owharoa Falls at the end of the trip capped the day.

Great tour. Bit of a trek out of Auckland but well worth it. Gordon was very helpful and nothing was too hard. Bikes were very good quality and the food and beverages provided hit the spot. Would highly recommend.

This is the second time we have done a tour with R&R, was so much fun, weather was amazing and the location is golden. Gordon is a great and very patient guide, setting each person up based on ability, making sure the bikes were perfect. Lunch and morning tea were also fab, almost needed a sleep after it, but had to ride some more. Loved it!!

A fabulous day. Well organized. Great bikes, excellent guides with help for the e-bikes. We had a guides front and back for 4 guests. Amazing trail with bridge crossings and a long tunnel. Don’t miss swimming at the waterfall. Even the lunch was delicious. Only slight negative was the 2 hour drive, but comfortable van, easy roads, and good scenery made that fun too. When we are in Auckland again we will set up a ride with Gordon.
