This is a good way to see the eco friendly town of Minca. The waterfall and chocolate factory at Jungle Joe's were really something special. This may have been the best chocolate I've ever had.Lunch was also surprisingly good. Unfortunately the coffee plantation was a let down, with average coffee and prices roughly 2x what you'll see anywhere else. Even considering the artisanal, organic practices, there is no reason to charge that much for thoroughly average coffee. The guide was also pretty good and knowledgeable. I'd recommend if you're looking to explore the city

Amazing experience. Its so lush, and beautiful to experience the coffee farm and make your own chocolate. Our guide Gustavo was amazing, very patient. It rained almost the whole hike but it was a vibe. Make sure to get a rain poncho and its all good.

It was very cool :) the guide was amazing and very knowledgeable and kind. Jevier, the gentleman who picked us up from Santa Marta hostel was very kind as well and drove us through a big rain storm safely. The food was delicious and so was the hot chocolate :) I definitely recommend this tour !

It was such a great tour! Our guide Tony Martin really made it special — he spoke with so much passion and he really knew what he was talking about. Honestly, thank you Tony from the heart. We did run into something unexpected: the rain came down so heavy that we had to stop for almost two and a half hours. It wasn’t easy, but Tony handled it so well. With help from a few others, he found a safe place for us to cross the river and made sure everyone got across without any problems. That gave me a lot of confidence. Lunch was nice too, and the girl who explained about the cocoa was super sweet and explained everything in such a lovely way. Even though the rain caught us by surprise, I personally really enjoyed this tour and would do it again.

I want to highlight the professionalism of the SADDAM guide who explained the coffee and cocoa making process in great detail. And also your careful attention in leading the group.

Be prepared for slippery trails and river crossing. The enthusiasm that our guide had was truly contagious. He loved what he does and has stories for days. Coffee in the morning, from the small farm, lunch at Jungle Joe’s & chocolate making was brilliant! One of the best trips I’ve been on & so happy I had made last minute plans to book

I had the opportunity to live this experience and fully recommend it. The landscapes, the rest and the kindness of the people is worth everything. We met places we never expected to meet and then we could enjoy the beautiful beaches of Santa Marta. Each of the moments of the tour are worth it and it is all very organized. It's an opportunity that can't be missed.

I actually attended the tour in July 2024, and it was one of the best hiking tours I’ve ever experienced. Our guide was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and I felt well taken care of the entire time. It truly felt like a great value for everything we did that day.
