We paid over $180 for a 4-hour private tour for two people — definitely overpriced. However, our guide, Suhail, was absolutely amazing. He is very knowledgeable about Buddha’s life and made the experience meaningful, tailoring the tour to our interests. His professionalism and kindness truly made the day special. Unfortunately, the manager’s communication was disappointing. He initially agreed to arrange a free airport transfer but later changed his mind and demanded an extra $10 for just a 10-minute taxi ride. It wasn’t about the money — it was about trust and principle. This small but cheap-minded act left a bad impression. Eventually we use $10+ to tip our driver and guide as they have done amazing job. We truly appreciated our wonderful guide and driver, but management’s attitude needs serious improvement.
