Giant's Causeway
The Giant’s Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Northern Ireland, is a breathtaking natural wonder famous for its unique hexagonal basalt columns. Located on the Antrim Coast, this geological marvel was formed around 50 to 60 million years ago due to intense volcanic activity. As molten lava cooled rapidly, it contracted and fractured into the distinctive interlocking columns seen today. The site consists of approximately 40,000 basalt pillars, some rising up to 12 meters high, creating a surreal, geometric landscape. According to Irish legend, the Causeway was built by the mythical giant Finn McCool, who constructed it as a bridge to Scotland to challenge his rival, Benandonner. The story adds to the site’s mystique, attracting tourists from around the world. Come walk along the famous stones, and admire formations like the Wishing Chair, the Organ, and the Giant’s Boot. The surrounding cliffs and crashing waves further enhance the dramatic beauty of the site.
Carrick A Rede Rope Bridge
Cross if you dare if not we can bring you to the iconic vantage point where you we be able to catch the spectacular photo. Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge is a famous tourist attraction in Northern Ireland, spanning 20 meters (66 feet) and suspended 30 meters (98 feet) above the Atlantic Ocean. Located near Ballintoy, it connects the mainland to the small Carrick-a-Rede island. Originally built by fishermen for salmon fishing, the bridge now offers breathtaking coastal views and a thrilling crossing experience. Managed by the National Trust, it attracts thousands of visitors annually. £15 per person to cross rope bridge

Sometimes, people leave a review because they are asked to or to help boost a business. This is not one of those obligatory reviews. This is a review that I couldn't wait to give. This was, by far, the best part of our 10-day trip through Ireland. We were taken by Gerard and Ricky to places not loaded with tourists. In vehicles that fit on the road and into which WE fit. We saw things we would not have seen on a bus tour. Things we could not have found on our own. Things we did not even know existed. And we saw them up close. We were pampered. We laughed until our bellies hurt. We learned things. We played. We climbed. We walked. We had Gerard's mom's ginger cake!! They brought snacks, drinks, stories, and gifts. This is truly a review I want to give. I am so excited about our day that I want to share the experience. The. Best. Day. Of. Our. Whole. Trip. No crowds. No fighting to see things. No time limits at stops. No cramming onto a bus. I haven't played this much, laughed this hard, smiled this big on vacation since . . . Ever. THANK YOU, Gerard and Ricky, for a truly amazing day. Worth every single penny. No doubt, the best way to spend your day.

Gerard took me and my five friends from Chicago on the black cab tour and it was nothing short of amazing. He was punctual, tremendously accommodating and knowledgeable of the troubles that Belfast endured. Do not look further and try and book this gentleman to show you around the amazing city.

Our vacation started by taking a GOT tour with Gerard as our tour guide. He engaged with us, was informative, answered all our questions sometimes in an humorous way and even made an extra stop as a request of my daughter. Our stop at the Dark Hedges was so much fun. If you are thinking of taking this tour, do it!

Best part of my trip to Ireland. Gerard shared his love for his country, wit and humor as he showed us the locations where Game of Thrones and Derry girls were filmed. We were laughing all day! Highly recommend!

We had an amazing day out with Gerard, picked up on time from our hotel in his Mercedes people carrier, as promised drinks and snacks were made available all day. He showed us some sights around the city & titanic quarter before taking us up toward the north coast and causeway. All the while engaging in conversation and passing on his immense knowledge of everything Irish, he talks about his own personal experiences and that of his family during the troubles showing photos and artefacts that he has amassed over the years. We stopped at various filming locations used in Game of thrones on the way to the causeway which was great fun, Gerard is quite the entertainer. At the causeway we were given time to have a look around ourselves, eat and drink at the causeway hotel, at no time did we feel pressured to be back for a certain time, it was a great experiance. Onwards to Bushmills distillery where we had some time to sample a few drops, great fun. The drive home takes a little over an hour, again Gerard takes time to explain the history of the villages you pass thru, pointing out various spots of interest that you would never get to see on a large tour, arriving back at our hotel at 5.30 our total time was 9 hours, it had been a great day, fun at times, engaging and thought provoking also. We would highly recommend booking your experiance with Gerard, Belfast and Northern Ireland is an amazing place full of amazing people, take a day to be shown around by a true character. Don’t waste your money on an open top bus, the cost of a day with Gerard will be some of the best money you will ever spend.

I have never seen Game of Thrones, but my family has, so we booked this tour. It didn’t matter that I had never seen an episode because the breathtaking sites stood on their own long before the show. I also learned about the Peace walls in Belfast and other political history facts. Gerard made everything so fun and I laughed at his “cracks” until I cried. I’ve been on several premier tours in other countries and this was the best!

Gerard is the best! The Game of Thrones GOT tour has something for everyone, and is worth double the price. You will laugh until you cry, make many wonderful memories, and have so many wonderful photos. You will see SO many great Game of Thrones filming locations in one day that you never could find on your own in addition to more history along the way than you could find in a guide book. This your was the best part of our Ireland trip!

If you’re in Belfast and don’t book the 7 hour tour with Gerard it would biggest mistake of your entire vacation. Very knowledgeable about GOT and the history of this area. He is extremely funny and his mother makes the most delicious ginger bread.
