Loved the overall tour route. Inexpensive option to see a lot of the key sights. With that said, it was more of a van ride than a full on tour with an active, engaged tour guide. At Groeme museum, he was good. The rest of the stops, there was very little information shared, followed by free time. The overall tour length was good. Many people in our group opted out of paying for admission for some of the stops which meant they were on their own while I and others were off touring the sites. Some of it had to do with mobility - just noting that not everyone in the van did each site in detail. And yes, there were a few salesy stops, no high pressure sales.

This is the most complete trick I've ever found. I preferred to do it privately because I don't like to follow bands and prefer to go at my own pace. Our guide Esma is very prepared, friendly and outgoing. Despite the overwhelming heat of 39 degrees in the afternoon we did almost everything on the program. At 4pm we asked to go home because it was very hot. The tour could have lasted longer but we made the most beautiful attractions and are delighted. Thank you, Esma!

Our day trip through Cappadocia was absolutely unforgettable, thanks to our phenomenal guide, Ozay. He is truly a five-star guide—full of knowledge, humor, and warmth. Ozay shared fascinating history, answered every question with insight, and made sure we experienced the very best of Cappadocia in just one day. One of the highlights was visiting the open air museum -it was absolutely mind-blowing to explore. We also visited the underground city which was fascinating. From ancient cave dwellings to surreal landscapes and hidden valleys, every stop was memorable. The tour was fun, engaging, and beautifully paced. We genuinely had such a great time and would 100% do it again. I’ll be recommending this experience to all my friends—if you’re considering it, don’t hesitate. You will not be disappointed!

This was in late May & Goreme was heating up...on this day by the afternoon it got up to almost 90F by 2 pm. Luckily the approx. 14 peeps in the van vetoed one stop that would have meant to pay way too much moolah to walk around in the heat for an hour at the attraction-it was the only pay extra item so we all only paid for the tour as priced by Viator. Otherwise, as I learned how things work in Turkey (aka Istanbul as well as I learned in Morocco years ago) the "local" custom is probably the trade off for generally low cost day tours is that far too many of the "sites to see" were commercial ventures to local business where they hassle & haggle w/you to buy really, really expensive stuff you probably really don't need. As in we got a "fashion show" at a leather garment shop where the prices were insane. Same for the "pottery" making demo at another shop & finally at a turkish delight shop selling more overprice sweets & treats & trinkets. Our guide was nice & cordial BUT he was NOT proactive about the extreme heat. As in EVERY time we stopped for, say a 1/2 hr., the driver would turn off the van and thus when we got back it was INCREDIBLY hot inside & by the time we got to the next stop it had finally cooled off enough but now too late. On days like that, you MUST keep the van running-sorry do gooder environmentalists. And the worst part was the massive cafeteria lunch that was included that happened WAY TOO late at some massive complex that every tour van went to-almost at 3 pm & the food was atrocious & mostly just Western carb loaded junk food & inedible salad options w/little Turkish options.

Thoroughly enjoyed my time on the tour. We experienced most of the sites like Göreme Open Air Museum and Kaymaklı Underground City and many more. Our guide Özay was super knowledgeable and gave us a great experience and took us to all the must see locations. Definitely worth it.
