Not only do you have the best chance of seeing a Sri Lankan leopard, but you also have a very high chance of seeing elephants. We went during a period of time that Yala national park was experiencing a mini-drought. This meant that the elephants were further inside the park around the permanent lakes and not need the main roads. Even then, we still managed to spot a lone male grazing in amongst the trees. If you go to Yala when there are not experiencing a drought then you will certainly see herds of elephants roaming around the park in plain sight.

5.00We always wanted to go on a safari tour to see the impressive animals up close. We then came across recommendation on Yala La Safari Tour. The advance contact was already very promising and cordial. So it is and the decision not difficult to book the tour. And what can I say...we really exceeded our expectations. It was an incredible feeling to see the animals up close in their natural habitat. The driver was super nice, and gave us enough opportunities to take photos and videos. Many thanks to the Yala La Safari team. We will definitely repeat it with you!!!
