This is a combination tour of the spice tour, the stone town tour, and the cooking class tour.
During the Spice Tour:
The traveler will walk through the farm; guests will be shown and given an explanation of each and every spice that is found in Zanzibar. After being fully packed with knowledge, our guests get time to buy spices, soaps, and creams, which are all handmade by the community within the farm.
During the Stone Town Tour, you will see:
Guests will visit the Cathedral, Slave Markets, Sultan's Palace, Tip Tip’s House, the Old Arabic Fort, Freddie Mercury House, Forodhani Park, and the famous Zanzibar Doors in the petite streets.
During the cooking class tour, you will learn how to make authentic Zanzibar food. We will walk to the Darajani market and choose our ingredients before heading out to a spice farm in a private car. From there, you will have an hour-long spice tour and then join me to cook some delicious lunch in a traditional Zanzibar home with the spice tour offer.

What To Expect
The Old Fort (Ngome Kongwe)
You will see a former prison, an old amphitheater that was once used for ladies, and traditional handicraft.
House of Wonders (Beit-el-Ajaib)
You will see the old bronze guns, which were captured by Persians by 1622; also, you will see Zanzibar's old curved doors and other preserved old items like dhows.

5.00What an exceptional experience. Do yourself a favour and go and immerse yourself in a one of a kind cooking class. What starts off with exploring the spice farm and being fascinated by how the spices are grown, followed by a medley of strange fruit tasting, ends in a cultural exposure that has you making pilau and chapati the traditional way. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized and tailored to our interests. The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, making us feel like we were exploring Zanzibar with a local friend. 5.00The tour started with Yaseen driving us along with our tour guide Khamees explaining everything. We walked through the forest and arrived to a Zanzibari primitive shack where everything was set for a cooking lesson. The cook dressed me up like a local woman which was fun. Then he started showing us the spices ,explaining and giving us instructions what to do and how to cook. It was very interesting to try different materials as well as different way of cooking. We had a blast the whole time that we didn’t realize that it passed 3 hours already. Then when the food was ready we had a feast . I still cannot believe how delicious, tasty, different and natural the food was. No hormones nor chemicals in the food at all . No heart burn afterwards either. The only downfall was is that we ate so much till our tummy was hurting so much. We walked in the forest after that exploring the spices we used in cooking My advice is ( do not miss this tour) having said that we always travel and do a lot of tours.
