Setting off from Douglas we head north to Laxey and visit the famous Lady Isabella Water Wheel - onto King Orrys Grave for our first taste of one of the Islands Neolithic sites. Then to Maughold Church - Ramsey - St Johns and Tynwald Hill. Peel with its Castle and House of Mannanan museum. Niarbyl then over the mountain of South Barrule down to the Calf Sound - Cregneash folk village - Castle Rushen and return to Douglas over the Fairy Bridge

5.00My daughter's and I hired Mario for the day to take us around to the east side of the beautiful isle of Cozumel. We didn't know exactly what we wanted to do-but after asking Mario some questions and some great suggestions from him-we set out on a wonderful adventure! Mario told us he has lived his whole life on the island-he is very knowledgeable and personable! Mario speaks and understands English very well. We never were on a time table, he told us you decide where to stop, and how long we wanted to stay. We never felt rushed! Very enjoyable day that went way to fast! Thank you Mario for a fabulous day! We will be back and you will be the one we contact for a tour BEFORE we visit!

5.00I spent a wonderful day with John on a bespoke tour of the Isle of Man. I came to look for my ancestral connections as well as the history of this amazing island. John’s knowledge is extensive and his storytelling style interesting and engaging. I thoroughly recommend John to take you on a wonderful journey of the history of the Isle of Man. 5.00The day was amazing. John went above and beyond at helping track down our ancestral farm and church. He included it with the tour of the island according to when we might have the best chance good weather during the day. It worked out beautifully. He is a wealth of knowledge and enjoyable to spend time with and hopefully if we get to come back I would do more again.
The only way to truly discover all that Isle of Mann is!

5.00Our first visit to the Isle of Mann would not have been complete without this fantastic tour! Our guide, John, was a wealth of knowledge. His love for IOM shows in how he explained everything and told of the unique history. He even brought along some items he personally dug up! I absolutely recommend this tour. It is worth the vacation time and money. We will be back. Thanks John!

5.00For anyone visiting the IOM this tour is a must. John’s in-depth knowledge of the island, its culture and the island's links to historic events in the UK (and beyond) is immense. John’s knowledge of archaeology and the history of the island is invaluable in understanding the island's development over the centuries. I have Visited the IOM annually for past three years and have always stayed in Douglas. I have learnt so much from this tour that it has it given me an appetite to venture further on my next visit and learn more. John is very friendly and helpful; nothing is too much trouble for him. After spending eight interesting hours with John I feel that I have made a new friend! I would highly recommend this tour, very good value for money.

This trip is not only about exploring the island with a local, but also about understanding this small community and its local nature. 5.00John was simply amazing. What a stroke of luck to spend an incredible day with this man. I don't think we'll ever realize how important John is to the IOM. He gave a more than an expert tour of this beautiful place. He is well known about the Isle which says alot about him. We will one day definitely revisit.

5.00John guided me around Isle of Man a whole day. I cannot recommend John enough! I had a LOT of questions and he answered all of them. We went off pist from the tourist trail, exploring beautiful and interesting Man. John shares knowledge about both contemporary issues and history right back to the neolitic age - and is a great storyteller!
