Tawfiq is a great host and very funny. His brother Sattam was also our guide and took great care of us. Everything about the experience was professional and authentic to the Bedouin culture, and I would definitely come back to Wadi Rum and go with this camp. We went sand boarding, ate a traditional lunch and had lots of sweet Bedouin tea. The facilities were clean and the food was fresh and delicious. Overall I really enjoyed the experience !

I had a fantastic experience in Wadi Rum with Desert Bird Camp. I had chosen a Jeeptur and experienced the beautiful red desert. It was an experience I will never forget. I felt safe and entertained throughout the trip. Take me back!

I spent a whole day in the desert with Satam as a guide who took the time to explain the different stopping points. I saw other groups who didn't have an explanation so I'm very happy. The landscapes are exceptional and it is well worth spending a day there. Lunch was simple and very good, sheltered from the sun for a little rest. I was also able to try sandboarding which was pretty fun. I highly recommend this tour and Satam!

Wadi rum is an incredible place to visit! I contacted Tawfiq directly via whatsapp to book when I was given a recommendation from a previous guest staying at Desert Bird. I had to move dates and a couple of little changes around to accommodate an unexpected emergency, and it was no trouble at all for Tawfiq to help out. My husband and I had booked for a 2 night stay, but sadly he had to return back to Australia for a family emergency. I carried on and I am so glad I did! I felt very safe and comfortable travelling solo to Desert Bird. Had the best time and the camp was so chilled and hospitable. 1st day I arrived from Aqaba and went straight in and did a whole day's 4x4 tour. AMAZING!! Met some lovely people and had lunch/tea and a stunning sunset. Beds were so comfy in the tents aswell. A traditional under ground dinner was made and more chats with others guest at night time. A fire was lit and it topped the 1st day off. 2nd day, I went deep into the Desert driving and exploring with Tawfiq. Tried some fresh camel milk and had lunch with some other tourists that we stumbled across. 2nd night we even had a visitor to dinner...a hedgehog! So cute. Camp, facilities and the people are amazing. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys 👌

I did the full day Jeep tour with Desert Bird Camp and it was just perfect! They take us to the main spots in Wadi Rum Desert with the most amazing views! It was definitely the highlight of my trip. They offer a traditional bedouin lunch in a beautiful place in the desert and you can also go sandboarding in the dunes which was super fun! Our guide was super friendly and funny and answered all of our questions regarding the bedouin traditions. And to make the experience even more perfect they took us to an amazing place to see the sunset with amazing views from the desert! Totally recommend!!
