Raj Ghat is a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. It is a black marble platform that marks the spot of Mahatma Gandhi's cremation, on 31 January 1948, a day after his assassination. It is left open to the sky while an eternal flame burns perpetually at one end. It is located on the banks of the river Yamuna in Delhi on Ring Road officially known as Mahatma Gandhi Road. A stone footpath flanked by lawns leads to the walled enclosure that houses the memorial.

I recently traveled to India with Dreamlike India Holidays, coordinated locally in Serbia by Monika Fuderer Masirević, and the entire experience was absolutely perfect. Everything—from the planning and communication to the on-ground arrangements—was handled with exceptional professionalism and care. Monika was incredibly attentive, answering every question and making sure the trip matched exactly what we wanted. Once in India, Dreamlike India Holidays took over seamlessly. Our guides were knowledgeable, our driver was reliable and kind, and every detail was arranged so thoughtfully that we could simply relax and enjoy the journey. Thanks to this wonderful team, we experienced India in a smooth, safe, and unforgettable way. I wholeheartedly recommend Dreamlike India Holidays and Monika Fuderer Masirević to anyone looking for a beautifully organized and truly memorable trip. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The multi-day tour with Harshit through Delhi, Agra and Jaipur was wonderfully organized and there was always room for an individual touch and orientation. Harshit has brought historical details and political as well as social and culinary aspects to me, thus bringing me closer to Indian culture. I can't imagine a better tour guide. Absolutely recommended to travel with Harshit! Genial!

As an introduction to a three-week trip to India, we were guided through the bazaars of Old Dehli by Harshit, Dreamlike India Holidays. Without our guide Harshit we would have been completely lost in the jungle of small streets and alleys, in the confusing frenzy of a thousand scents and smells and in the pulsating noise of dealers and honking motorcycles. We were guided through the bazaar, past paper printers, dyers and hairdressers, to small and larger Hindu and Jain stamping facilities. The strong religiousness of the people was impressive and the mutual consideration defies the crowds. We felt the accompanying information from our guide was important, which gave us a deeper insight into the events. On the surface, of course, everyone can also walk alone through the bazaars and temples, which can understand events and peculiarities, but only with good guidance and accompaniment. All this was conveyed to us by our German-speaking guide Harshit from Dreamlike India Holidays.
