What a wonderful day in the company of Lena who took us to discover her secret corners of Basse Terre. To us the waterfalls in the jungle, the turtles in the Caribbean Sea, the boiling water in Boiling. The delicious lunch near Trois-Rivières. The discovery of a black sandy beach. The shooting on Dumanoir alley and then taking from the height the visit of a banana plantation. While driving she told us the exciting history of Guadeloupe. We returned to Grande-terre with amazed eyes of so much beauty and head full of beautiful memories.

**🌴 An unforgettable day in Basse-Terre 🌊** Yesterday we had an absolutely incredible day trip to discover Basse-Terre. Between the black sandy beach, the banana fields, swimming with turtles...every moment was filled with wonder and beauty. A huge thank you to Lena for this memorable day and for making us discover these beautiful places. We leave with splendid memories. An excursion that I highly recommend: a perfect mix of wonder, history and unforgettable moments!

We have just returned from a two-week stay in Guadeloupe and, without any hesitation, our day with Lena is among the top 3 of our activities. If you are looking for an authentic experience, away from mass tourism, look no further! An organization with small onions. From the start, Lena showed remarkable attention by picking us up directly from our villa to save us unnecessary kilometers. It is this kind of detail that immediately announces the color of the day: serenity and comfort. A secret and wild itinerary exclusively in Basse-Terre. The program was simply sublime. We started with a beautiful double waterfall on two levels, a peaceful place and away from the crowds (place unknown to tourists, without sign). This was followed by a snorkelling session in Malendure where we had the chance to meet turtles and tropical fish. Lena also led us to the sulfur baths of Bouillante (an atypical discovery recommended by the locals) and then to a breathtaking viewpoint on the Soufrière. Lunch was a friendly and gourmet moment: a small restaurant that does not pay for mines but where you eat divinely well. Between an aperitif of your choice à la carte and the acras offered by the boss as well as the choice of à la carte dishes, it was a hearty treat! Beyond landscapes, Lena transported us with her stories. She tells the story of Guadeloupe and slavery with a passion and precision that makes the journey as informative as it is contemplative. We had opted for the photos option and we absolutely do not regret it. Léna is a real professional: the rendering is beautiful, high quality, and has nothing to do with our own shots. It is a priceless memory!!! One piece of advice: Remember to take your own photos throughout the day because Lena chooses to capture key moments (waterfall, black sand, Dumanoir alley and banana grove), she has an incredible eye. In short, Lena is a calm, gentle and deeply caring person. While the program may vary from the initial announcement as some customers comment, the reality is much higher: it’s REALLY a timeless and extraordinary day, it’s priceless. We recommend this tour 1000%. Thank you again Léna for this moment of sharing and pure beauty!

Tour date first moved due to lack of minimum number of participants and then tour definitively cancelled at the last moment, when I was already waiting at the meeting point, with justification of bad weather forecasts. To be avoided.

I had a great time and would totally recommend this day trip! We visited “secret” places you probably wouldn’t find without Lena and her amazing knowledge of the island. I don’t speak French, and she took the time to translate everything for me, which I really appreciated. I couldn’t be happier with how the day went.

The places visited were very good and Lena was generous in her explanations, but several small points put a little shade to the experience: 1. At the last minute, Lena asked another couple to change their excursion day to regroup with us without notifying us that we would be 4 adults in a basic SUV. The vehicle was not comfortable for 4 adults, too small for 3 people in the back seat. 2. There was no air conditioning, so we went all the way with the windows open, so with the wind it was difficult to understand the guide’s explanations from the back of the vehicle. 3. There was no snack provided as mentioned in the ad For all these little details, I don’t think the excursion was worth the price paid and I think it would be relevant for users to be informed before booking the tour.
