What To Expect
Cotopaxi National Park
We will visit the Cotopaxi National Park which has the second highest volcano in Ecuador, while the guide registers the entrance, you will have time to go to the bathroom and you will also have time to buy a snack or a hot drink that will help you to climb to the refuge. . When we arrive at the volcano parking lot we will begin our walk to the refuge, once we get there we can buy a hot drink to warm ourselves up a bit.
Laguna de Limpiopungo
After the ascent to the refuge we will visit the Limpiopungo lagoon, a magical place, cradle of birds, wild horses and white-tailed deer, where we will have an incredible view of the Cotopaxi volcano and Rumiñahui volcano. After visiting the Lagoon, we will have our delicious lunch.

Great trip with Erik to Cotopaxi

5.00We had a great trip with Erik to Cotopaxi. Robert coordinated the trip just the day before and Erik met us right on time at our hotel. He’s super friendly spoke great English has a clean new car and was a good driver. On the way up we stopped for coffee and snacks at a cool local shop where the people were so nice. The Cotopaxi climb was a challenge but Erik helped us through it all. Fox and white tailed deer spotting and pics. Erik took a bunch of shots for us. We had a late lunch at a gorgeous local restaurant with a table in front of the fire. It really was an awesome day.
