The Humantay Lagoon is one of the most beautiful tours that Cusco can offer to travelers who like to walk and explore nature, a beautiful lagoon created by the ice and snow of one of the APUS known in Inca times as an earthly god called Salkantay an imposing snowy that creates beautiful landscapes at its bases with a large amount of flora and fauna, we will also see the Humantay snowy which is the one that gives its name to the beautiful turquoise green lagoon that we will see, a beautiful lagoon with different colors such as green, blue and Turquoise, come and explore this beautiful place with us, passing 4,250 meters above sea level.

What To Expect
Centro Historico De Cusco
We pick up our travelers from their lodging located in the Historic Center of Cusco and transfer them to the restaurant where they will enjoy breakfast. The trip will take about 2 hours and they will have 1 hour to have breakfast, then we will continue on the bus for about 1 more hour to the car parking point where we will begin our climb up to the Humantay Lagoon.
Humantay Lake
We will begin our walk at the base point where there are shops to buy snacks and equipment for the walk, then we will start the walk from 3,900 masl and we will reach the lagoon located at 4,200 masl, from there we will see a beautiful turquoise green lagoon in which We will have time to walk and take photos in this beautiful place. We will also see the beautiful snow-capped Humantay, swimming in the lagoon is currently prohibited. We will need 1h30 to climb and we will be appreciating the landscape for 20/30 minutes.
