Juan was an absolute pleasure. He gave us interesting facts about the terrain and had a fun attitude throughout. Everyone should experience the Puerta Vallarta coast with Juan!

It was a very fun tour, something new and different. The places you visit are very good, and the guides are very attentive to your questions, providing information and guiding you through the locations they take you to. In our case, Isaac was our guide, very kind, pleasant, and fun; he was attentive to us. Highly recommended to schedule; we would definitely return.

Alex was super knowledgeable and helpful. I was a bit slow during the hike compared to others in our group, and Alex showed genuine concern, always making sure I was okay, and I made it to the end. It was a fun day!

This tour was one of my favorite experiences in Puerto Vallarta. The landscape was gorgeous, and everywhere we looked there was something new to see — birds, iguanas, butterflies, flowers. Armando was a warm and welcoming guide who shared interesting details about the flora, fauna, and history of the area throughout the hike. If you hike regularly, the trail is very manageable. Cooling off in the water and swimming with the tropical fishes was a great experience! Lunch was delicious as well. I would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone who wants to see the quieter, more natural side of Puerto Vallarta.

This is definitely not for the faint of heart. When that sun peaks over the mountains, it can get pretty hot!! Lots of electrolytes during the hike, and save the alcohol for the end.

Not a long hike (maybe 2.5 miles), but has some ups and downs of a couple of hundred feet. In cool conditions, it's no problem even for a casual hiker. But when the outside temp is 90 degrees F (like the day I went), the hike feels strenuous. Prepping for a hot hike (e.g., good hat, sunscreen, a bottle or two of electrolyte drink) will definitely make it easier to do the hike. Although the guide did the entire hike barefoot (completely amazing), I don't recommend it. Plenty of rocks, tree roots, branches, leaves, old boards, etc. on the trail, so good shoes will keep you happy. The Viator trip is well worth the cost since the guide makes everything easy. The bus out to the starting point and the boat ride back are covered. The guide helps you with any food/water/bathroom needs, and takes you to a good restaurant at the end (you'll be hungry). He makes sure you don't go off trail and checks on how you're doing. Lastly, there's plenty of time at each beach to get in the water or lounge on the beach. Overall, a great trip at a very reasonable cost.

This was a great hike and the beaches were beautiful. I really enjoyed the snorkeling experience on the first beach, there was so many fish around us! And watching the pelicans dive for them. Alex was an excellent guide, very bubbly, patient and professional throughout. He was very knowledgeable about the landscape. Highly recommend this tour.
