We’ve been running this trip for decades and we’re excited to show you why it’s so amazing. Soak up the whitewater and high-desert scenery on this 5.5 hour trip full of class III and IV rapids. . We have a 5-person minimum for our full day trip. We do combine smaller groups. Minimum age requirement for full day trips is 6 years old and at least 45 lbs.

What To Expect
Soak up the whitewater and high-desert scenery on this 5.5 hour trip full of class III and IV rapids. We’ll stop for lunch mid-way through the day and also pull over to swim rapids, enjoy a short hike up White River to the natural rock slides or pull into Pirate's Cove to a 12-ft jump into the calm, deep cove. Your guide will ensure your group gets the level of adventure you want. From action-packed whitewater paddling to a leisurely float full of history and geology of the Deschutes River, we pride ourselves in offering the right trip for each person. We take care of all transportation, equipment, guides, photos and a delicious bbq lunch. Check-in time for the full-day trip starts at our store in Maupin, OR at 10:30 am.We have a 5-person minimum for our full day trip. We do combine smaller groups. 5.00What an incredible experience with this outfit Deschutes River Adventures. Jack and Emma were incredible guides, the office was great when it came to booking the reservation and setting up the particulars. The equipment was top notch and the full day trip is something that I will remember forever. If there is anybody you should book a Deschutes Rafting trip with, its Dechutes River Adventures. We had 2 boats, 2 guides, 15 people. The lunch was surprisingly good to be honest if you know river food, I didn't have high expectations but was impressed. You can tell that they are serious, passioniate, and obviously a good time. 5 stars, no doubt, look forward to coming back to Maupin again to spend time on the River with this crew.

5.00We were a family group of 10 with 5 children and 5 adults. Everyone had a good time. Our guides Zach and Bailey were great, they made sure we were safe and hit the rapids just right. They interacted well with everyone in the group. The kids really enjoyed the chance to jump off the rock, the White River water chutes and 2 of them swam through the rapids before the lunch stop. Looking through the pictures I just see lots of smiles! Lunch was adequate but nothing special. We saw lots of birds as well as some weasels on the side of the river.

5.00The trip was outstanding. Our guide, Hannah, was great filling us in on various geo facts about the river and surrounding area. She also was great at guiding us thru the rapids. We also had a chance to jump out and float for a while which was timely based o the day's temp at 95. Lunch was served halfway down the river and hit the spot! We also saw our guide from last year, Bailey, (also an awesome guide) who we had a chance to catch up on old times and relate experiences on the water!
