Provence Wine Tours
Meet your english-speaking wine expert guide at 9am in front of our meeting point (centrally located) in Marseille. Your guide will drive you in a clean, comfortable & A/C minivan accommodating up to 8 people maximum to the 1st winery. You will visit 2 wineries in the morning, get about 1h30 free time for lunch in the pretty provençal village of Lourmarin, and then visit a 3rd winery in the afternoon. Taste some reds full of character & finess, aromatic or gastronomic rosés and lively whites. You will be back to Marseille around 4.45pm to the same place where we met in the morning (starting point). We select different types of wineries in order to offer you the opportunity to see different ways to work. We have developped partnerships allowing us to take you behind the scenes: from the winemaking & aging rooms to the bottling lines, you will see everything! Your guide will also explain you about the soil, the climate, the grape varieties, the famous "terroir" but also the picking, pruning, green harvesting and many other subjects in a relaxed and educational way.

Jean Gabriel was an AWESOME guide. Pickup at the meeting point was very easy to identify and seamless. The ride was in a very spacious and comfortable van, in which Jean Gabriel talked to us about the region and about wine itself. Our favorite part was that he has a more personal connection with many of the vintners, so he makes sure to only have the ones on the tour that will provide a more personalized experience and more reasonably priced wines should you want to purchase some to take/ship home. We would absolutely recommend this excursion to everyone, and thank you again to the wonderful Jean Gabriel for making everything amazing!

We have taken other wine tours with this provider and once again it didn't disappoint. The guide was on time, the vehicle clean and comfortable. We visited two wineries in the morning and one in the afternoon. They were well chosen examples of the territory and the tastings were informational and generous. Midday we stopped in Lourmarin with time to explore and have lunch at one of the lovely cafes. Our guide provided an enjoyable day with wine making details for the Luberon and interesting historical information about the area. It was the perfect way to taste and view all the area has to offer. Thank you Jean Gabriel.

It was a very nice tour. The guide was very funny and shone with a lot of knowledge. Also the wine selection was very good and the individual winemakers very friendly. There was also a lot to offer in the landscape. With the number of wines, everyone gets their money's worth!

Jean Gabriel was a blast and still very knowledgeable and patient with the group (who were also a lot of fun). Nice to see the French countryside too. Bought some wine!

We had an excellent wine tour with Eric as our guide. He was so personable and knowledgeable. His English was very good and he had years of experience in the wine business which allowed him to answer all of our questions with ease. We went to La Verrerie, Fortvert, and Calavon wineries and had great tours and tastings at them. The wines were delicious and we bought several bottles to take home. I highly recommend this informative and tasty tour!

Gabriel was a great tour guide. He was interesting and interested in his guests. He gave us snippets of information making sure he wasn't overwhelming us with too much knowledge yet enough to respond to our queries. The day was well paced and Gabriel kept us informed about our activities. A fantastic way to visit the Luberon region.
