My best friends booked this event for my Birthday, upon my request. We received a call an hour before pick up telling us the event was cancelled, allegedly the chef was sick. The night before the menu options were changed and didn’t cater to our dietary restrictions as stated in description. Calls were attempted, no answer and when they did respond via text it was as if they were upset that we were upset about the unprofessionalism. Definitely wouldn’t recommend will be advising others not to book.

I wish I could actually review this based on the food but unfortunately we never actually made it to the class. An hour before we were supposed to be picked up, I received a message that our experience was cancelled. This was after confirming hours before for a pick up. I was told the chef had the shivers and sweating and then was told he had a stomachache. The operator became upset because I questioned the authenticity of the information I was given. It was just very unprofessional and disappointing because we were excited about the experience.

We had such an incredible afternoon, chef Kennedy and his wife were so accommodating. We did this on my birthday and it is a day I will never forget. We cooked fritters and Oildown and it was amazing. We sat on their balcony to eat with views that were breathtaking. Most of the ingredients were sourced from their garden which was so beautiful. We made rum punch and came away feeling at peace. Their ethos is excellent, they are a very special couple who love their beautiful island. I couldn't recommend this experience more.

So glad we signed up for this cooking class, we had so much fun making Oildown, and the hosts were fantastic. They made us feel like welcome guest in their home and we helped cook an amazing meal. We were included in the entire recipe from start to finial. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Grenada for an authentic local experience.

This was the best thing that we did during our vacation. The people are great. Kennedy is passionate about love for food and education and sharing about his life and getting to meet the whole family. Wow cooking amazing food was such a pleasure. When I saw the Opportunity to go on this, I was worried about an oil down being food that wasn’t healthy and of course, after learning more about the tradition, it was delicious and extremely healthy. Highly recommend you add this to your vacation. Unforgettable experience.

Every new country I go to I like to have an immersive cooking experience in someone's home. This was unlike any of my other experiences! Chef Kennedy picked me up him self and is a consummate professional and Ambassador. I loved both learning step by step how to prepare the Roti with chicken, fish cakes and Rum punch. It was also so interesting to learn so much about the history and politics of Grenada. And then we went on a tour of his garden and I was able to pick and taste many of the fruits and herbs that grow in Grenada. The coolest was when I was able to grate a nutmeg from scratch. You will love every moment of this experience and did a mention how good the food was we cooked???

Our cooking experience with Chef Kennedy was undoubtedly a highlight of our time in Grenada. Welcomed into his beautiful home, we were treated to an excellent two course class (followed with desert served after we ate), with amazing explanations on how to make each dish, as well as excellent conversation throughout getting to know more about Chef Kennedy and the islands of Grenada, Carriacou and Petit Martinique. Let me not also forget the amazing rum punch he made, as well as the delicious sorrel and coconut water we had throughout. The tour of the garden was incredible, smelling all the different plants and fruit straight from the source. To his daughter Ariel and wife Nikoyan, we want to also extend our gratitude, as they made us feel welcomed and were excellent co-hosts. We will definitely be visiting to try out new dishes on our return.

Have just had the best and most authentic cookery experience with Chef Kennedy at Home Hospitality in Greneda. We have done a fair few of these types of experiences in a number of countries and were really impressed with the super friendly professionalism and planning that had gone into the day. Under his guidance we prepared and cooked a number of local dishes and also made rum punch (from his special recipe) that we drank as we walked around his kitchen garden sampling fruit and smelling herbs and spices. Would 100% recommend.
