Today was an amazing experience of Thessaloniki, the food and the history of the city and area. The food was absolutely incredible, and even better because of all the stories and information behind it. Between the food stops we have been learning about the history of Thessaloniki. The guide is extremely well knowledged about all the history and really knows how to entertain multiple people in a group. Also the guide was very flexible for all of us (with food preferences).

Great tour with a guide who really knew Thessaloniki. Pauses with tasting where the guide, Panagiotis Karafoulidis, told about the coffee, food and restaurants that could be places where he ate as a child oxh that still had the same owners / staff. Panagiotis Karafoulidis also gave us the history of Thessaloniki in a way that was easy to keep up with. Highly recommended.

It was fantastic. More than enough food to snack on. We really appreciated the information and history that went along with everything we were tasting. The shop owners that we visited were absolutely wonderful and I appreciate their dedication to running a small business and quality products!

Lot’s of walking, but no hills or steps. Did not get to sample as many food or beverage items as we have had on other food tours. Our guide went into great detail on the history of Thessaloniki.
