What To Expect
Abadia del Sacromonte
The Abbey of Sacromonte is a historic 17th-century abbey, formerly a seminary and school with student residences. It now serves as a residence for canons, a parish church, and an ecclesiastical museum. Located northeast of the Spanish city of Granada, it can be accessed either via the Sacromonte Road, which starts at Peso de la Harina halfway up the Cuesta del Chapiz, or via the old Fargue Road originating in Haza Grande.
Mirador de la Vereda de Enmedio
It is a cobblestone path that encircles the area, offering several viewpoints from which the Alhambra can be admired from various perspectives. Of course, one must also acknowledge the charm of the caves in the renowned Sacromonte gypsy quarter and the nearby Albaicín neighborhood. Every resident of Granada should take the time to stroll along this white pathway and uncover the secrets hidden within its many twists and turns.
