Wonderful experience! Great guide! We picked a short private trip for Christmas Eve and St. Michaels cave felt very festive. As it was the holidays we had the monkeys almost to ourselves! Gorgeous sunny day to work our way up the rock, visit the siege tunnels and learn the history of Gibraltar. My daughter was particularly interested in the land reclamation efforts as well. Highly recommend this tour! We also had a Marbella transfer that brought us to the border crossing and met us again at the end of the tour. Very well orchestrated!

The description states that you will have time to stroll the city's main promenade with time to shop and explore. That is not included in the half day tour and needs to be removed from the description. Tom is an excellent tour guide, but the description of the tour is deceiving. We paid almost $1000.00 for a 4 person private tour and felt like it was not a good value. An hour of it was just getting to the border. We enjoyed what we saw but left feeling disappointed. We took a similar tour to Ronda and we had a much more complete tour for $230 less than what we paid for this one.

Wonderful guide. Very informative and personable. Great experience. The tour service did not convey the tour end time very well, but that was not the tour guides fault. Wish we had more time to explore on our own.

Pick up from resort was very convenient We did a private tour to Gibraltar with 2 other couples / 6 total people. We were handed off at the Spain border and walked through without issues - passport required. Picked up by a guide/driver in Gibraltar. He was wonderful! Enthusiastic and informative. We tend to spread out and he kept us corralled enough so we could all hear the information. We learned so much about Gibraltar with gorgeous views! We were quite enamored with the monkeys but we didn’t feel rushed. We all loved the experience. He suggested a lunch place and picked us up after lunch for transport back to the border and picked up by our Spanish driver back to our hotel. Easy walk back into Spain. We all agreed it was worth the trip.

My family and I spent half a day visiting Gibraltar. We left Mijas and with an hour and a half we arrived. Parking ok and price in line with the coast. We made tickets to visit the Rocca including a private bus before passing the document check, very expensive tickets: for 2 adults and 2 teenagers 80 €, 2km bus Service + funicular to the Rocca. Taking the funicular, very old and badly maintained, we arrived at the top where there is a beautiful view, some cute monkeys and nothing else. For the haze you could not see Africa and the place is really badly kept, dirty and maintenance-free: falling concrete walls full of writing. Then there's a bar with gadget sales put a little better. I forgot, I also liked the hundreds of migratory birds of prey that were flying over us at that time. Experience definitely not to be repeated.
