We are a boutique hot air balloon company - operating with 5 balloons everyday for sunrise rise flight. We focus on giving our passengers a magical experience flying over Bagan that they will never forget. That is why we can only accept limited reservations per day. We have 3 types of boutique flights: Classic, Premium & VIP – to match the once-in-a lifetime experience you are looking for.

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness

Any Passenger who weighs above 125kg/280 pounds or any passenger, who needs the space for 2 persons, will be requested to pay 100% surcharge of the ticket price. Failure to provide accurate information in advance may lead to the refusal of flight at the launch site, whereby no refund will be offered.

Children under the age of 8 years will not be allowed to fly with GOLDEN EAGLE BALLOONING and children aged between 8 and 16 years needs to be accompanied by a responsible adult and the children have to be over 137cm tall (4 feet 6 inches).

It was an exceptional experience. Great Processing with breakfast before the flight and celebration with champagne and fruit on arrival. The friendly and professional pilot made us feel safe in the air and gave us all the explanations of the case. Wonderful silence in the air broken only by the flames of the burner to rise in altitude. So we could fully enjoy the wonderful view of the Bagan plain. The temples in the distance first appeared undefined amid the morning fog barely illuminated by the first light of dawn and then became clearly visible in all their details arriving on their vertical. The basket was for eight people. Experience more than recommendable.

Very nice experience! All pilots are from Europe or North America. All went very well from the hotel pick-up, breakfast (while they are preparing the balloon - nice to see!) and the flight itself Over Bagan and the temples is obviously amazing. It ends with a nice drink. Our pilot (Jason, not to name him :)) was really nice. We felt very safe in a top atmosphere.
Awesome, must do experience in Bagan, a highlight of our trip

We did a hot air balloon ride with Golden Eagle Balloons in Bagan in Jan’20. Was a fabulous and very memorable experience in one of the 4 best ballooning locations in the world. We had Blake as our pilot for the day, which was excellent to connect with a fellow Aussie and he was a top class pilot who filled us with confidence. He pointed out all the relevant sites and some history around Bagan and the main temples and balloon flying history generally. The whole process ran extremely smoothly from booking, hotel pickup and the well rehearsed daily program with pre flight breaky, safety briefing and post flight fruit and champagne. The company had a strong safety focus. Would absolutely recommend Golden Eagle ballooning, we had a fabulous experience.

Golden Eagle understand this is a big deal experience, the whole thing is very well handled, from watching them set up (whilst drinking coffee and nibbling croissants) the very professional pilot, nick, to the easy and safe landing, plus a champagne light breakfast. Definitely recommend this, best way to really get a feel of Bagan (do it at the beginning of your stay). Truly beautiful.

Had a wonderful experience with Golden Eagle Ballooning. The pilot was really good and professional at explaining everything and showing us the city. Great welcome to the launch site and champagne at the landing site to top off the experience. Could not have asked for a better experience!

Even if seems pricy at first the experience with Golden Eagle is worth it. We had very nice pilot Blake. His co-pilot was very nice too. Everything went smoothly. Starting from hotel pick up, little breakfast on the site,balloon flight, glass of champagne in the end and drop off back to the hotel. Amazing view. I felt secure and in a good hands
