We've just returned from three weeks in Rajasthan. We decided to book our trip independently and chose Lalit Private Drivers to provide our transportation. Our experience of their services was fantastic. My initial enquiry was met with a swift response setting out the various options available. Once booked, I then provided our itinerary. All of my questions were dealt with in a prompt and efficient manner. The company did not request money until we met our driver, this gave me a feeling of security when dealing with a company I had not encountered before. Pawan Kumar was assigned as our driver. He was excellent. Pawan was courteous and prompt. He possessed excellent driving skills and at no time did we feel unsafe, particularly on some of India’s busier roads! He was friendly and professional throughout. The car was clean, modern and we were provided with copious amounts of soft drinks and snacks for long journeys. The various guides arranged by the company in different cities were fantastic. They were knowledgeable and engaging. Whilst driving Pawan also afforded us the opportunity to stop at locations unknown to us. This provided pleasant surprises and experiences during our trip. The TukTuk tour of Jodhpur and the Monkey Temple were particular highlights. On two occasions we chose to travel by train and plane, for variety and time. On both occasions we entrusted our luggage to Pawan, who drove our bags to our destination and deposited them at our hotel promptly. When planning a trip there is always a sense of trepidation when engaging with a company that you have not heard of. I can say that having done so I would wholeheartedly recommend Lalit Private Drivers. The professional service provided by Pawan allowed us to enjoy every part of our holiday free from any worry about future arrangements. They worked hard throughout and ensured that we return from India with only happy, positive memories.

We had a great experience traveling from Delhi to Agra and Jaipur with Lalit and our driver, Azad. The service was truly beyond our expectations. Azad was always on time. actually, he was always one step ahead. Before we even finished sightseeing, he was already there waiting for us. It made everything feel smooth and stress-free. The car was always clean, comfortable, and stocked with water, which we really appreciated. Driving in these vibrant and sometimes chaotic cities can feel overwhelming, but Azad made us feel safe and secure the entire time. He was also very pleasant and fun to talk to, which made the long drives much more enjoyable. We felt very well taken care of and would highly recommend them.

We have just completed an 11 day trip with Lalit drivers. There was an initial hiccup when we arrived and no driver to meet us but this was quickly resolved with another driver being despatched. Our driver, Feroz, over the next 10 days was excellent at navigating the chaotic and busy roads especially around Delhi and Jaipur. Feroz was always on time, and gave us suggestions for an itinerary and eating places along with advice on avoiding the touts. His English was limited but we managed to make each other understood. I would definitely recommend Lalit drivers. Make sure to agree the price in whatever currency you end up paying in so there’s no misunderstanding at the end of the trip.
