  Having a golf cart on Grand Turk is a must. We thoroughly enjoyed being able to ride around at our own pace and explore.

  This is a good value. It takes just a walk out of the cruise port area and past all the other more expensive vendors in the port. But just outside the gates ( to the left of the port area parking lot) just ask all the vendors hanging out for Max Kart. We found her and she drove us a little ways down to a storage lot to pick up the gold kart. Not as pretty as the "Hummer" cloned karts but good enough and worked just fine all day. Only issue was a parking brake that didn't work so we just carried a rock to put behind the wheel. This is the best way around the island. We had a blast.

  Getting the golf cart was sketchy, but it worked out. Our golf cart was not in the best shape and hesitated a bunch and back-fired a few times. The map provided was sufficient, but I recommend getting a plan together before traveling. We got to see the entire island and found a cool beach without a ton of tourists.

  We rented a 6 person golf cart from Max on 10/10/2025. Gas powered cart, was a little older but was dependable. We explored the entire island with no problem in the time we were at port. Was $130 at the time of our visit. Max and what I assume to be his wife were very friendly and very accommodating. We would definitely rent from them again. Only negative thing I can say is that there are numerous rentals in that location and if you have not paid in advance, they will all claim to be whoever you are looking for. Max cart will show you paperwork with their logo and info before asking for money. 100% trusted. We have dealt with them in the past, and due to unfortunate circumstances was not able to get to the island and they were very understanding and returned our prepaid rental payment courteously, and very timely. Wonderful people, running a great business.

  I think the clutch was going out on the golf cart. I ended up having to push it up a small hill while my wife drove it. Other than that, it backfired when we stopped. And when we stopped to go to the market, after turning the key off the motor would keep running…

  Don't reserve late. Book at least 15-20 days out. They had a cart for us, but it was old and very worn out.

  It was easy to find. The golf cart we had was rough around the edges, and I feel for the price it could of been a little cleaner. Return was fairly simple, there wasnt a gauge to tell how much gas it had, so I had to put gas in just in case. Side mirrors were broken, but it got us around the island.
