We are not able to accommodate children under 7 years of age on this tour, as according to VicRoads regulations they must travel on child restraints, which are not available in our minibuses. Passengers who show up with under 7 years old kids will be refused boarding without refund.

This is a small groups tour and the vehicles are 12 seaters minibuses Toyota Hiace or similar. In case extra room is required, send us a message so we can arrange large coaches option.
If you are traveling with people, not in the same booking, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. We operate with multiple buses and can't guarantee sitting together without being informed.

5.00The GOR Reverse Itinerary tour was exceptional. The ocean views were stunning and we did not encounter large crowds. Mark was a great tour guide and provided the perfect balance of giving information, but also providing quiet time when we were on the highway. The tour was 12 hours but the pace was perfect and time flew by. I highly recommend the small group tour.

5.00We took the GOR Reverse Itinerary tour today and it was exceptional. The pace of the tour was perfect and the ocean views were stunning. We did not encounter large crowds on the reverse route so we were able to take unobstructed photos. Mark was our tour guide and he was great. He provided detailed narratives on the various stops, but also gave us quiet time when we were driving on the highway which I appreciated. The tour was 12 hours but went by quickly. I highly recommend this small group tour.

3.00This was a fantastic opportunity to see the incredible seascapes along the Great Ocean Road. I personally could have done without the morning tea stopover (and gone straight to Twelve Apostles), the forest walk (underwhelming), and the koala/kangaroo stopovers (go to a zoo or wildlife sanctuary instead). If those were taken off the agenda, would’ve made for more time at the Twelve Apostles, Gibson Steps, Loch ard George, Teddy’s lookout and all the insanely gorgeous and majestic natural spots that I’ve come all the way to Australia for.

5.00Fantastic day out. This is a challenging itinerary to manage and deliver and our guide & driver - Kevin, did a phenomenal job. He led the day so well we got in an extra stop with gorgeous views, not to mention the wonderful stories and anecdotes about the places we were seeing. He was a pleasure to spend the day with - thank you to him & to Hit the Road; I’d do it again in a heartbeat. If it were me - I’d double the time at Loch Ard Gorge & halve it at icecream.

5.00This was an absolutely brilliant tour made particularly special due to the fabulous Peter a truly great tour guide. Right from the start Peter made us feel so welcome and his warm and funny chat had us all locked in from the beginning. It was very clear that the main aim of his day was to make sure we had a really great experience and we most certainly did. Peter was extremely knowledgable about Melbourne and the great ocean road as well as his passionate love of the environment and all Australian animals. He made it his mission to make sure we saw koalas 🐨 but not just any koala we got the pleasure of seeing something pretty rare - a koala on the move 🐨😁we also saw lots of kangaroos. Of course it goes without saying that the spectacular views of the coast line were superb. This is a must do tour in my view and if your lucky enough to get Peter as your guide well done to you.
