Overnight at Anse la Roche
Isle de Ronde
After leaving the Grenada Yacht Club, you will sail along the Grenada west coast.Depending one your time of departure and the wind, you may stop for lunch along the way or at Isle de Rhonde. Isle de Rhonde is the largest private island of the Caribbean. It is only inhabited by 37 fishermen living in a village at the south of the Island. The yacht anchorage is on the west side of the island, it is calm and has great swimming. There are 3 small beaches in this cove that can be accessed by dinghy. If you are into hiking, there is a nice hike starting from the gully on the south side of the middle beach. It offers a beautiful lookout point over the bay, Grenada and Carriacou. For snorkelling, there is a beautiful snorkelling site between the 2 rocks of the Sisters, at the south of the anchorage. You can easily access it by dinghy from the anchorage, but someone will have to stay in the dinghy and drive it around while the group snorkels.
Overnight at Sandy Island
Sandy Island
One of the cruisers' favourite, Sandy Island is an amazing anchorage just in front of Carriacou's most popular beach. Here you can snorkel, paddle, kayak, explore the little isle or Paradise Beach
Overnight at Anse la Roche or Sandy Island depending on weather conditions
Anse La Roche Bay
Next stop will be Anse la Roche, a beautiful bay at the north of Carriacou with a beautiful rock formation where you can snorkel. There is a beach restaurant and bar that serves the most amazing lobster lunch if you want to book it.
Overnight at Windward
Petite Carenage
Petit Carenage is at the northern tip of Carriacou. With Union Island and the Northern Grenadines as our background, we enjoyed your lunch on board and swim in the crystal clear water. Spend the night at the Windward anchorage. If you do not feel like cooking you can order a pizza from Pizza Meh Heart, the best pizzeria in Carriacou located a short walk from the dinghy jetty. you can visit the village of Windward. The village is famous for its traditional boat building industry and some of the most beautiful Carriacou sloops have been built right there on the beach. If you have the time, you can dinghy to the jetty and walk along the coastal road where you will find several workshops with boats at various stages of construction.
Overnight at Saline Island
Carriacou Island
The two islands form a marine protected area with a large reef starting north of Saline to the north of White. This reef offers a great drift dive/snorkel. There is also a reef around White Island and it can easily be approached by dinghy. It is best not to swim outside of the reef because of the strong current. When going from White Island to Saline Island, you can sail around the back of White Island and the fishing at this area is great (it is just out of the protected area so you can fish there). In the anchorage of Saline Island, you can swim, paddle, kayak or snorkel. There are often turtles and rays there. Kenroy, the caretaker of the island, lives there and also runs a great vegan restaurant using produce grown on the island. However, his presence on the island also means that opportunities to explore the island are now restricted. You can ask him, and he will gladly take you around his farm and probably let you venture around the large saltwater pond too.
Overnight at the Mango Bay, Grenada
Tyrell Bay
Tyrell Bay is a good place for provisioning and most certainly to refuel the water and diesel before heading back to Grenada. You can also take this opportunity to explore Carriacou from there.

Our catamaran cruise to discover the Grenadines was a memorable experience, albeit with a few nuances. In the early days, the crew, consisting of the cook and the skipper, were very strict, which could be a bit intimidating. Fortunately, the atmosphere has relaxed over the journey, allowing everyone to enjoy the adventure to the fullest. Sailing in the Grenadines can be tricky, and seasickness is a risk to consider. However, the islands visited and the excursions offered were simply exceptional. Each stopover was a discovery, offering breathtaking scenery and varied activities. One of the highlights of this cruise was the meeting with other travelers. Strong ties were forged, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. Evenings on board, lively discussions and shared laughter will remain etched in our memories. In short, if you are not prone to seasickness, this cruise is an experience not to be missed. The Grenadines are a true paradise, and life on a catamaran, a unique adventure. Despite a somewhat rigid start, the crew managed to offer us an unforgettable journey, rich in discoveries and emotions.

My family and friends did a 5 day Grenadines sail in mid June "24. It was an amazing cruise but what made the trip exceptional was our outstanding skipper Nick, who handled the boat; allowing us to totally relax and enjoy the experience. Nick(Hollywood) our Captain was professional, knowledgeable experienced, personable and was indispensable in helping us organize some excursions we had on land. An amazing asset and ambassador for his company! Can't wait to do another Caribbean cruise!!!

What a fabulous and relaxing trip ~ Many memories shared and made by all of our crew, young and old! I reminisce about being gently rocked by the sea, reading a book, or just staring at out to eternity. The children amused themselves for hours, both indoors and out. The boat is equipped with kayaks, paddleboards, and floaties. Indoors, the kids enjoyed coloring, reading and there is even a fabulous movie theatre in the starboard cabin! The adults enjoyed sunset cocktails and board games while dinner was grilling on the bbq. My favorite experiences were lunch at Anse La Roche and exploring the beautiful and serene Saline Island. I highly recommend this sailing boat for families looking to spend quality relaxing time together. Very few decisions to be made and a nice feeling to know that the kids are safe and within meters of you at all times.
