Zlatko was an incredible guide, to be fair the village attraction was not too exciting- maybe better during the tourist season. Zlatko was very knowledgeable however and was able to present the politics/ history of Macedonia very well. I take a lot of tours, Zlatko was hands down one of the best at teaching us the sentiments of the local people. I feel like I learned so much about the culture- which is exactly why I travel!!

A very interesting and varied tour. Highly recommended, in November it was nowhere full. The boat tour in the Matka Gorge was an absolute highlight of my trip.

I had a great experience with this tour from the very beginning. Even before the tour started, Philip from the agency was extremely helpful – he answered my questions on WhatsApp, shared all the necessary information and booking links, and even let me know when a spot became available on another tour I was interested in. The Matka Canyon tour itself was very well organized and comfortable. Our group was relatively small (around 16 people), which made the experience much more enjoyable compared to the large buses with 40–50 tourists that some other travelers mentioned. Our guide Jimmy was fantastic – friendly, knowledgeable, and very engaging. He shared interesting stories and made the whole day feel relaxed and enjoyable. Matka Canyon is absolutely beautiful, and this tour is a great option if you want to see a lot in a short time without the stress of organizing transportation yourself. Highly recommended!

We were very professionally taken care of by a very friendly and efficient guide, Elena, together with the driver of a new and comfortable van.

I booked this tour as I had a good experience with the same company previously on my trip. This was another excellent day. Our tour guide, Damir, had led the previous trip, and recognised me on arrival. Damir is a fountain of information about the area, and has an engaging style. We stopped at a vantage point overlooking the city before continuing. Our tour included a stop at Saint Pantaleon’s Church, an amazing Byzantine church. Matka Canyon is beautiful and the boat trip to the Vrelo cave was excellent. Damir called ahead when we were nearby so we went straight from our vehicle to the waiting boat, and then to the caves, with time for a stop off in the cafe on the way out for coffee. I was pleasantly surprised at how big - and how good! - the desserts were! Damir showed us around the city a little before dropping us off so we could orientate ourselves and find bars, restaurants, shops, museums etc. Brilliant day
