5.00I am so thankful for Lapland Explores for getting us in last second!!! On Dec 28th our tour for Northern Lights was canceled with a different company who let us reschedule for the next day. The next day that company canceled 1 hr before the tour time so I had to scramble last second to find another group willing to take myself and my husband out and Lapland Explores came to th rescue. They also thankfully picked us up from our resort as well! Vitor was an amazing guide and drove through a blizzard to get us to see the norther lights! He also took amazing photos! Thank -you for an unforgettable experience!

5.00Seeing the Northern Lights is of course a natural event that cannot be guaranteed. We were unlucky twice and then decided on this provider afterwards. The tour was super planned from the beginning. The departure time has been adjusted to give you the best possible chance and the guides drove with us as far as Sweden to have a clear sky. Everything was super organized and the guides were very friendly, well informed and motivated to find the best possible place for sighting. Although the activity was rather low that day, we clearly saw the Northern Lights in green in the sky! The place was super selected and the guides made a lot of effort to take the perfect photos of all the guests in front of the great sky very quickly before the lights disappear again! It was a really great tour overall and nothing was missing. You could see how much fun the guides have in their work. At the end we saw the Northern Lights again clearly in the sky and although we didn’t really have any time left, the guides took pictures again in peace and let us enjoy this moment. Having previously tested two other providers, I can only say that I would book this provider again at any time!!

1.00Don’t book, horrible customer service. Cancelled 10 hours before the tour, via a message sent to the app I booked through. However dies to the message going to spam, we found out when I stopped by about 4 hours before tour. Told there are clouds in the forecast. The sky’s were clear all day, the sun even came out, locals at restaurants, bars, and other excursions earlier in the day all mentioned how that evening would be perfect for viewing. Found another company who should us pictures of what they saw the night before even with cloud cover. I should also mention I booked this tour about two weeks in advance at a discount. And while we are getting a full refund, when you travel halfway around the world to see the Northern Lights this is not how you expect a company to do business. Definitely got the feeling in talking to the company in person, they didn’t have a full bus so not worth their money. The way this company handled the matter was just all around wrong.
