Rob was amazing. Really knowledgeable and fun. Learned a lot and was so impressed by Rob’s love of history with a good, solid side serving of trivia. Thoroughly recommend

We had such fun on the tour, with our tour guide Rob. Everything was so interesting, and relaxing. We bought bits and pieces of bibs along the way, like sausage rolls, and pease pudding. Stotties! Rob is very happy for you to ask questions, and has a great sense of humour. He is interested in his guests too, which was nice I learnt things about Newcastle that I wasn’t expecting at all. And inspired me to come back. I highly recommend this tour Good value for money, because you get a really substantial amount of time together. Is not too exhausting. But you visit key areas of the city. It’s also a lovely way to get to know other people who are visiting Newcastle

We had walk booked and bought for us and wasn't sure what to expect but it surpassed anything I imagined. The guide Rob has a brilliant personality and he included everyone in conversation he definitely knew his stuff he was very knowledgable. It was a good tour full of information and as I said already, conversation. The weather was awful but aside from that we had a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ experience. Thanks to Red Beard Tours and dad for gifting us it.

Rob is a fantastic guide. We had a small group for our tour of Newcastle. We walked all around the city. Rob knows so much about the city and its history and its buildings. In fact, he also mentioned other places that could be accessed by the metro or train. I love learning about new places and Rob is very passionate about his city and it was a great tour.

A very interesting tour with lots of quirky stories told in a humourous way. It’s good for seeing the sights in the city centre but doesn’t go down to the river, so best to do those parts by yourself.

Rob was excellent on all fronts. Personally interested and caring; administratively organized. The tour itself a wonderful way to get to know Newcastle ... and learn a ton about its history and culture. Was a purely delightful and uplifting little journey. Recommend it highly.
