We were picked up at the hotel, received lots of exciting information about turtles, snorkeling and their animal welfare program Xenios. We even saw a turtle while snorkeling🤩 Very nice guides!

It was one of the best trips I've ever done. I wanted so badly to encounter a sea turtle and I did. Really a fun experience! You also learn a lot about the sea turtles.

Great experience. We saw two turtles snorkeling. The animals are the focus and are close to their hearts.

If you’re visiting Cyprus this is a must do experience that is truly unforgettable! The Cyprus Diving Centre is a fantastic organisation dedicated to helping teach everyone key diving and scuba diving skills aswell as an conservation site who monitor and help protect the incredible turtles that live in Cyprus. Me and my family booked the guided snorkelling trip to see turtles and it really was special. The thing that I loved so much about the organisation is how personal the experience was. Our two guides who were so supportive, friendly and helpful picked us up from our hotel, drove us to the centre where before beginning diving we were shown a really engaging and interesting presentation about the turtles, the organisation and what you can to do to help. As visitor I felt like I learnt a lot and now know more about how to protect the species. After this we got our scuba diving gear on and headed down to Green Bay hoping to find some turtles. Now for me this is where the experience was really made for me. I want to say a huge thank you to Ciara for being such an amazing mentor who guided me throughout the whole experience. I am not a confident swimmer but still really wanted to try the experience. At first I was definitely nervous swimming in deep ocean water but Ciara was so patient and let me travel at my own pace. She consistently listened to me and respected me with great professionalism and before I knew it I was swimming in open water! I couldn’t believe it and it felt incredible so thank you so much Ciara for such an unforgettable experience! She has inspired me to try swimming once again as I had quite a negative experience in the past so that day felt like a huge achievement. I hope my experience shows that even if you can’t swim the experience is still so enjoyable and this shows how inclusive the organisation is. As for seeing the turtles I personally didn’t feel confident to venture further however my family got to experience them and the underwater photos/videos were magnificent. Beautiful displays of a turtle swimming around. We then left the bay and the headed back to our hotel thanking our amazing guides for such a personalised experience. Thank you so much to the Cyprus Diving Centre. You guys are an incredible organisation providing vital research for helping conserve the turtles that live here while creating such a special experience for everyone! :)

This was a great experience and the whole family enjoyed it. The staff are great, spent the time with my kids and my son who isn’t a great swimmer. I would say do it to anyone. We did see a turtle also 😀

we were so looking forward to it , but I had the feeling that everything had to happen very quickly . Car was covered with dirt , at the back seat you didn't know where to go with your feet so much lay around on the ground , car could not be locked, windows broken , but that wouldn't have bothered us. But snorkeling on a section of the beach that is constantly frequented by ships and therefore not pretty, there would surely have been others. We were lucky enough to see even 2 turtles briefly , but after snorkeling , we hurried back to the hotel . No return to the base (as described on the Internet ) to identify the turtles seen. The promised Turtle Lovers turtle snorkel diploma is unfortunately still missing today . The swap school is certainly top for divers , but led to snorkeling unlovingly , we really expected more as we were already elsewhere in the world for snorkeling . Therefore for 75 euros per person , of which 2 children too expensive -sorry , but that's how we see it .

We got to see a green sea turtle up close, although it was being pursued by about 4 tourists. We expected to have more than 45 minutes in the water. Much of our time was spent in the dive center learning about the sea turtle protection program - a noble endeavor—but longer than expected.

I must honestly say that I am very disappointed. According to the description, the trip should have been with marine biologists or Turtle experts. Furthermore, a max. Group size of 4 people promised. There were six of us and the two young ladies were unfortunately not very experienced. They could not provide any information about fish and the turtles and what we saw underwater was never explained. The powerpoint for info about turtles at the dive center has been leaned down and has not technically worked well. Although I asked for it 3 times a snorkel was forgotten for me - the leader of the group then gave me hers. Which she had none on. At no point was my 10-year-old daughter looked at or asked how well she could swim. The pace was very high and the group was rushed through a very full bay - which we had already visited the day before. Luckily she is a very good swimmer. With other children, I could imagine it difficult. I had the impression of the description that we would go somewhere special, possibly even with a boat. That we would not see turtles in such a crowded place was clear. The description also says something about a diploma. In addition, I find the price 75 € per person - even for my 10-year-old daughter - much too high. There was no option for children. If possible, I'd like my money back. We were neither properly welcomed nor farewelled. I feel really ripped off on a trip like this. The pictures sent via link were unfortunately very bad and blurry. They were, in my opinion, not sorted out. Unfortunately, all useless. What a shame! I hope Cyprus Diving Centre can see this as a constructive criticism that other guests have a better experience.

It was a pleasure to participate to this trip. It was very intresting to hear about more seaturtles and we actually saw seaturtles Wallace and Bailey. Luca picked us up from our hotel and made sure everything was okay. He also took pictures. We had a nice snorkeling moment and after that we went to eat pizza. And he also showed us the database of seaturtles and how it works. I recommend this trip!
