Blue Curacao is definitely one of the most famous liqueurs in the world and used in many cocktails. A visit to the small scale Curacao Liqueur Distillery, with your local-professional guide, will be a journey through local history. You will spend one-hour learning all about the Senior Liqueurs and enjoy the taste such as it is produced since 1896.

What To Expect
Let your trained tour guides take you on a journey and provide you with in-depth knowledge about liqueur and culture. You will learn all about the Senior Liqueurs and enjoy the taste such as it is produced since 1896. All tour includes a tasting at the end and afterwards you can enjoy a signature cocktail of your choosing made, of course, with Senior liqueurs. The deluxe cocktail includes a tasty homemade Gelato Ice Cream. All of which can be enjoyed in our cozy courtyard. Inside the mansion, you will find a gift store, which offers a wide selection of Senior liqueur products and original Curacao souvenirs.

5.00The whole experience was amazing. Early start so plenty of time to enjoy the rest of your day. Che was very knowledgeable of the ecosystem , which was amazing for learning. The ride was smooth. Offered snacks and refreshments. Che also got in the water with us and took photos for us. His crew member was also lovely. Friendly and fantastic experience. I would 100% book again, couldn’t recommend more!

5.00Great experience. The team was friendly and welcoming. Our taxi was delayed over an hr and the young lady at check in stayed with us well after closing time to ensure we got a ride back. Now she lost the card with our taxi’s info but she made up for it and took great care of us.

5.00We had tour instructor Eli. He was very nice and did a wonderful job giving us all the information and walking us through the distillery. We enjoyed the hands on learning and the drink at the end. So glad we booked in advanced as they did not take walk-ins when we arrived. Highly recommend to learn the background of Blue Curacao!

4.00This was our first time visiting this location, and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour, including the samples and drinks provided on the premium guided tour. The only thing that left us disappointed was being told that they offered the best prices for their bottles, but supermarkets and duty free at the airport provide better savings. Keep that in mind if you plan on buying multiple bottles, as it can get costly.

2.00I had a great expectation to know the history of this so famous drink and its manufacturing process. I went with friends who loved it, but my experience was a little frustrated due to the guide speaking only English. At the beginning of the tour I asked and she told me that I would do the entire guided visit speaking in 3 languages, which did not happen. She literally translated the most important words such as Orange and Chocolate and followed with all explanations only in English. I don't understand anything about the language, but I speak and understand well in Spanish and if I knew that I would not have this possibility, I would not or would not be so frustrated. It was very good to know everything, to feel the aromas and flavors, but most of the experience was degraded by not understanding what was said. I wanted my tour to be 100% but I rate at a maximum of 30%. I don't tell anyone like me who doesn't understand English well.

5.00We had a great time on our deluxe guided tour. For only, $30 USD, we learned all about the process of making Curacao and got to taste different varieties of liqueur, cocktails, and ice creams. We took a taxi to the distillery from downtown Willemstad and the friendly staff at the distillery helped us to book a taxi back to the cruise terminal.

5.00Very interesting. Our guide was informative and patient. Sampled 3 different options. I highly recommend the deluxe option because the drink selections at the end made it hard to choose. My husband got the mudslide and it was super yummy. The other three we had were also delicious-blue margarita and two with the tamarind, can’t remember their names. The servers were very kind as well.
