A great countryside trip, suitable for everyone who wishes to get familiar with musk oxen in a beautiful farm. Brittney is a great driver, guide and a such a nice person!

Musk oxen are fascinating animals, and it was great to see them being cared for so humanely. Brittany with Escaping Anchorage was so nice and very accommodating, even giving us the option to postpone the trip because the weather wasn’t ideal. (We went anyway and were glad we did.) Wear shoes you don’t mind getting muddy.

Wonderful and unique experience! The ride to the MuskOx farm/conservatory was very scenic- oh those mountains!! The farm was fantastic and the staff there were kind and very informative. I loved getting to hear all of Brittany’s stories and she clearly loves her job so much. This was the only tour I could find going to this great location and I would highly recommend it :)

After another tour was cancelled at short notice, Brittney took our booking at 9pm the night before picking us up. Although we were booked as a group tour, it was just the two of us so Brittney picked us up from our hotel, luggage and all, and dropped us off at another location after the tour. Brittney was an amazing host from beginning to end, and our tour felt more like a great day out with an old friend. As we drove north, rain in Anchorage gave way to snow at the Knik Arm. The beauty and serenity of the Arm was humbling. The Musk Ox farm tour was interesting and informative. The 50mins of the tour flew by as our farm-guide (Jessica) introduced the animals by name and personality, and described farm operations. The animals were all clearly well cared for, comfortable and content. All in all, a great day out.

Good but pricey. Basically a drive to the farm for a tour and back. Appreciate Brittany greatly! Would definitely support this and try her other tours

Wonderful, everything unfolded as planned. Brittany was knowledgeable and cheerful. We loved meeting the baby musk ox. They were so “stinkin’ cute.” We had a great time.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. We loved Brittany so much on our first tour to the Musk Ox Farm that we went back to our hotel and booked another tour to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center later that same week. SUPER friendly, SUPER knowledgable and SUPER passionate about Alaska - everything you would hope for in a guide and more :)
