The famous Place Rossetti is around the corner from our meeting place, home to a 17th century church, the Cathedrale Sainte-Reparate and around the corner from our favorite wine merchant!
Opera de Nice
Across from the iconic Opera house of Nice lives the oldest shop in Nice established in 1820. We will stop in for some sampling while discussing the historical relevance of the family business.

5.00Anna gave a great tour with good tastings of local cuisine off the beaten path. She was quite knowledgable of the regions history and culture. We had a fun group, with light-hearted conversation and many laughs. Loved the experience and highly recommend.

4.00given the cost of this tour the quality of the food was below average. Ally was wonderful and gave a great history of Nice and talked about the food that goes along with the history. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was below average, particularly the dinner, which occupies two of the four hours. The meat was tough and the ratatouille was a mushy mess. The three or four stops before dinner were very good and I thought were a good representation of Nicoise food. Instead of the dinner, it would have been much better to add several more stops with more unique high-quality bites of Nicoise food.

5.00Lots of delicious food and we enjoyed the history and narration provided as well! Our guide was just fantastic, and we ate a lot of great French food! We appreciated that the tour still ran even though they had some last minute cancelllations so could have cancelled our tour. Highly recomend!

5.00I had signed up for this tour, but when I was the only one who had signed up Ally asked to move me to the dinner tour. I'm so happy she did! She was beyond fantastic! She was kind, knowledgeable and brought us to the best places. It all takes place in the old part of Nice which is filled with many streets of restaurants and charm. She explained the history of Nice while we had many delicious wines and food. We made the perfect amount of stops and had Rose, white wine, red wine, pastis. We had many local foods and ended with dinner in a beautiful square. We were completely stuffed but made a final stop at a gelato place. She knew all the locals and it was such a warm, family-like atmosphere. You felt like a friend was showing you around. As a solo traveler, I appreciated this. There were 5 of us in the group which was perfect and we had a nice time getting to know each other. The tour was a little over 4 hours but we never felt rushed and time just flew by! Don't hesitate to book this tour! Thank you Ally! I will be back and will sign up for your wine tasting!

5.00Totally worth doing especially in the beginning of your trip so that you get a sense of the old town, history and where to go etc. Ally was great. She had everything so well planned and prepared. Also meeting new people is always fun. We had a nice group and we enjoyed their company as we ate our way thru old town.

5.00This was a great tour! My husband and I did the tour our first night in Nice to have a way to explore the city and try all the local foods, and this tour delivered that and more! Our guide Janelle was excellent, and not only had a great knowledge of the food and local cuisine we had but also the rich history of the city itself! We loved the socca and the candy shop where we ended up getting some sweet treats to share with family! If you are in Nice and hungry for good food and a great time this tour is for you!
