At the end of the trek, you will arrive in Hau Thao village where Zizi’s family lives. From there, you can enjoy the breathtaking view and explore the village.

I twisted my ankle 10 mins before my trek so my guide had to help me a lot during the trip. In the end, I had to cut my trip short at the 3.5 hours mark due to the pain. My guide was nice and helped me book a bike back. am giving 4 stars instead of 5 because of seasonality - there wasn’t much going on in March.

Ku was an amazing guide. Her English is very good and she is a local… we observed other non Hmong guides pretend to know the culture where as Ku lives the culture.

Absolutely incredible!! My friend and I (23, F) got picked up from our hotel at 9am (you can choose where and when!). We walked down the forest and through different villages. The guides were angels helping us down the muddy paths! So lovely chatting and getting to know her and about the Black Hmong clan. It was actually the perfect amount of walking. Plenty of rests to stop along the way for refreshments or soak in the stunning views. Lunch was also deliciously filling and paid for. After we reached the Homestay Zizi, we each got a lift back on a motorbike! - would recommend spending a night there. All in all, the friendliest and most welcoming guide we've ever had. Thank you, and we'll keep in touch! X
