The scenery is beautiful and the schooner ride we loved. Serenity with transparent waters and colored fish. It would bring out the music that bothers you since they don't put bossa nos but cumbia. Luckily they agreed to take it down.

Traveling with friends or family? This is the perfect way to taste caipirinha’s whilst sailing around the beautiful beaches of Ilha Grande. Highly recommend. I only speak English and this Portuguese tour enabled me the opportunity to experience many cultures and meet friendly people. Number 2 for life!

Our tour time was bumped twice but we did get on the tour a hour and a half later than scheduled. As it turned out it was more of a party excursion than we thought but all in all we had a great time. A great look a Brazilian culture and the beauty of Ilha Grande. Eu gosto tudo.

For those who like animation and agitation, it is worth the walk. Super lively, wonderful beaches, crystal clear water, varied lunch, a day to have fun and have contact with nature.

Bus from Rio took forever, arrive in the afternoon (half a day wasted).Too many people on boat, lots of confusion between tour agents and tourists. Party atmostphere on boat. Swimming in saltwater swimming pool with lots of people crowding the water. Lots of noise in the water. Saw tropical fish in merky water, then ate them for lunch. Very little time spent on Ilha Grande and arrived on the island after sunset. Best part of trip was going home. Arrived very late in Rio (after midnight).

Really a paradise, I went on a schooner with no more than 25 people, it was excellent transparent and warm waters, I don't remember the names of the islands well, but if how beautiful the landscape is, they allowed me to go down 3 times about 40 minutes to the water, first swim with fish around you, that was great, then a beach that was a paradise just for us another 40 minutes and then to lunch to another island where the beach is exquisite to sunbathe and take a dip, inside the schooner they sell you rich food, and beer, I totally recommend this experience, it is beautiful and has a great time, I took it on a tour from Rio,

A schooner is defined as a sailing vessel, but this was a loud, smelly diesel craft. The ad said limited to 4 persons suggesting that this was a small craft, but there were probably more than 100 people aboard. The tour was supposed to be about 3 hrs, but went longer than 5 and we almost missed our cruise ship's departure. The guide was from Argentina, not Brazil, and although nice, he knew little of the area. The stop for lunch was less than desirable--not sure of the cleanliness of the kitchen, and there were many mosquitos. I would not recommend this to anyone.
