What To Expect

After picking you up at your hotel, The adventure begins with a tour in a 4x4 vehicle or safari truck that will take you to the top of the Redonda mountain. During the journey, you will be able to enjoy the beauty of the Dominican landscape, with its lush fields and sea views. Once at the top, you will be greeted by a spectacle visual: the horizon stretches before you, showing a mix of mountains, beaches and blue deep of the ocean. One of the most exciting activities is the opportunity to take photos at the famous hammocks and swings that hang over the void, perfect for capturing unique moments. The guides are friendly and knowledgeable, which adds extra value to the experience. They will tell about the local flora and fauna, as well as the culture of the region. Once the visit to the Mountain is over, we continue this adventure, arriving at Playa Limon, one of the most beautiful virgin beaches in the Caribbean and extensive on the Island. At the ranch we will get equipped and take a ride in four wheels or horses along the coast, to take a refreshing bath, and taste a delicious coconut, rum, cola and water.

Magical day living up to our expectations by his side alone with our super Guide Manuel who was very careful with us. This excursion was perfect! Our leader, Nelly, was so very thoughtful. She made sure we had everything we needed, and didn’t miss anything. The typical house was very interesting. We learned a lot and saw many flowers, fruit, and animals. The mountaintop did not disappoint! The views were breathtaking, and just nothing you will see at the resorts. Lunch was delicious and generously portioned. The highlight had to be the ATV ride to the beach. To say it was beautiful does not do it justice. Nelly never made us feel rushed, and she took lots of pictures of my husband and I together. Worth every penny!!

My friend and I had a blast on this full-day excursion. Excellent value for the money! Nelly was super sweet and accommodating and we learned so much from her. I especially enjoyed visiting the farmhouse to learn about the different native plants and fruits and to see how cacao is harvested and made into chocolate. My other favorite activity was riding the ATVS out to an incredible pristine, secluded beach through an expansive natural grove of palm trees and herds of grazing horses. The amazing views of Montana Rodonda in the background were just icing on the cake! And don't forget, this tour also includes incredible views and activities at the TOP of Montana Rodonda, plus a delicious lunch and shopping opportunities. If you want to experience a little of everything and get off the beaten path during your stay in the Dominican Republic, do yourself a favor and book this wonderful tour.

Why can't I give this 10 stars??? Nellie was amazing! She actually asked us to reschedule because a different day would have nicer weather. Thank you! Our originally scheduled day was rain all day. 1) Dominican house. Fascinating. Nellie was very knowledgeable about the flora, fauna and Dominican culture. We got to taste cocoa beans at every point in the process. I never knew unsweetened cocoa could taste so good! 2) On to Montana Redonda. Exquisite! We were the only ones there and everyone saw to our every need. The food they prepared was better than the resort. 3) ATVs. Fun! Their knowledgeable guide made sure we were very safe. We rode through forests, rice fields and coconut groves to our own private beach where we could splash in the water. 4) Souvenir shop. Nellie made sure to help us find the best of what we were looking for. The whole day was very relaxed and we never felt rushed. Nellie made sure we were entertained the whole time and shared her knowledge of the DR. Even made many suggestions to help in future trips. She also made sure we were provided plenty of drinks and snacks. I would highly recommend any tour with this company. But ask for Nellie! 😀

Visit to a small coffee and chocolate farm, then visit to the top of a mountain with a superb view, followed by a quad tour. Very nice day

Best time with the expert Nelly. Going up the mountains was beautiful 😻, lunch was included and ATV. We stopped by the beach and had coconut juice invited. Would recommend as a tour. We stopped at the house for fresh coffee and chocolate. Nelly is very active and was able to bring her igloo to keep us cool from the hot weather 😊

We have just returned from a week's vacation in the Dominican Republic (Punta Cana). We booked our excursions with LatikaTours. Counting on the good advice and kindness of Bernard and Richard. Great guides as well as their general knowledge which was very enriching for us. Very lucky, only 2 of us spent the day on the Safari Excellence excursion (in the company of Richard), who came to pick us up himself from our hotel. Between land and sea we learned, and enjoyed the discovery of this land full of richness (visit to the locals, Montana Redonda with the famous swings with a panoramic view to take superb photos, local meal, quad outing along the 'a wild beach..) We also did the Saona excursion, boat day, sea, white sand, natural swimming pool, and coconut trees... With all the good humor, a good atmosphere and the music on the boat that goes with it. (Bernard on platinum 😉) And the outing to go swimming with the dolphins, purely magical to be in contact with these very friendly animals. We recommend them to you with our eyes closed 😁 A pure joy, from which we will keep great memories! Thanks again ! Guillaume & Marine

Cannot recommend this excursion more. Nelly and Richard were amazing guides that quickly became part of the family. We enjoyed the farm. Learning and tasting. The mountain was beautiful, my family ended up ziplining ($15USD p.p. extra) The Dominican lunch was delicious and view was amazing. We decided on wheelers vs buggies, again a blast. Multiple stops throughout to see the beach, sea and river as well as taste fresh coconuts. Last stop was at a gift shop where we shopped until we dropped. (souvenirs and cigars). Recommend taking cash if you plan on ziplining and shopping. Thank you, Nelly and Richard for a fantastic day and great memories!!
