Snowshoeing is one of the best ways to move in deep snow. Dating back at least 3500 years, this ancient form of winter hiking is ideal for exploring the Lappish nature offering great opportunities for photography.
The tour is guided by a professional photography guide who will also teach you some tricks and techniques for your own landscape and nature photography. We will take breaks during the tour and one longer break will include building a fire and enjoying some light snacks and warm drinks.
Tour starts at our meeting point in Levi where everyone will get their equipment ready for the day. We provide you with high quality snowshoes, especially made for deep-snow hiking. After a drive to the wilderness location, we will enter the deep snow in the pristine Arctic nature. If we are lucky, we may encounter some wildlife during our tour.

What To Expect
From the meeting point we will make our way to our selected nature location outside of Levi centre. There we will experience some beautiful nature and Arctic forest. We equip ourself with snowshoes and take a hike through the nature and explore the area. We also make a fire and enjoy some snacks on the way!

5.00We were taken by guide Jan. He was a very friendly guide. Took us to nice places and told us about different things of the area. All in all highly recommended to go on this tour. We also had some sausages in a kind of tipi tent. Really very nice all!

5.00Wonderful trip, magical views and keitoffe guide (Lucia ❤️). We were five (ages 10-69) and would book again immediately. The total group numbered 8 people. Our first time hot berry juice too 🤤.

5.00Fantastic walk! Very nice to do, but tough to walk uphill with those snowshoes on. But thanks to our guide Lucia, who took the pictures and told a lot and could show the most beautiful places, it was really worth it! Highly recommended!

4.00The four of us went for a snowshoe hike with our guide Teemu to the top of a hill. It was a beautiful trip with beautiful views and the sun on the horizon. Teemu was very kind and has taken many pictures of and for us. In the end it was just a little too hard for me. But I do look back on it with pleasure. Thank you Teemu!
