Really enjoyed the visit to the Timanfaya volcanoes, it was a unique opportunity to see something I haven't seen before. The trips to El Golfo and the salt plant were also really interesting. The stop for wine tasting is neither here nor there - the taster is a small sip of a single wine. The main advantage of that stop was the chance to grab a small snack and a cold drink (not the wine!). The driver and guide were both friendly and the enthusiasm of our guide boosted the experience.

Tried long stay Air B&B for 5 weeks. We recommend car hire to see the whole island. Enjoyed Timanfaya Volcano trip but saved considerably by taking the car. Same story for Mirador del Rio. Spectacular views from there. Visited Caesar Manriques house which was the most disappointing excursion of our stay. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed Playa Blanca and indeed all of the island.

Excellent from the moment of getting onto the coach. Tour guide was great. He conducted the tour in English & German. He was so interesting to listen to. All the information was so informative, adding his own humor 😊 Timanfaya is just beautiful & breathtaking. Fantastic scenery & the history given by the guide was excellent. There were so many opportunities to take photos within the National Park. The other stop off places : salt works & vineyards just beautiful to visit. A trip so worthwhile to take. I’d go again for sure.

We really enjoyed the tour. Timanfaya is absolutely spectacular and we were mesmerised by it. It is a very quick tour, so if you'd like to have more spare time you should book a full day tour. The only part we didn't enjoyed as much was the wine testing as you can only try one type of wine and it's a very quick stop. In any case Timanfaya and the green lagoon were fantastic and the trip is worth it just so you can experience that. Would recommend to someone that wabts to do a day trip without spending the whole day out.

We did the tour on our own, rented a car just after arriving at the airport We were in the park of Timanfaya it was spectacular, I didn't like him camel ride, I didn't go up I feel sorry for the animals there we went to the geria to see the vineyards We go down to the gulf (lake of clickos) the boilers and salt flats of Janubio all very nice and the spectacular views. We end the day walking on white beach!

A great way to see a few local sights in a relatively short amount of time. The bus picked us up from outside our hotel bang on time and our guide (I think her name was Maria) was friendly and knowledgeable and very clear in her instructions. She also spoke several languages. The driver did an excellent job (we found out after the volcano park it was his first time driving the route). The volcano experiments / demonstrations were interesting and the park was worth seeing. It is also a lot quicker to get in on a coach as the queue for hire cars waiting to get in was really long by the time we left. The green lagoon is unique although not much to do there. Potential downsides: you only get 20 - 35 minutes per stop so it can feel a little rushed but we felt like it was enough time to have a look round and buy a few souvenirs. The wine tasting consists of one small taste of one wine so it’s more of a stop at a winery than an actual tasting but the history of it was interesting and there was a great souvenir shop. The salt pans were similar, interesting to see and hear about but nothing to do except buy some salt and a well needed cold drink or ice cream. Overall would definitely recommend for adults, might be a bit of a long morning for kids unless you have something to entertain them with on the bus.

The experience was really good. When booking the trip we were emailed later to tell us to go to another hotel for pick up. The coach then drove past our hotel on the way. The "wine tasting" is a bit of a stretch at we arrived were given a few mils of 1 wine, shepherded through the shop and back onto the bus. The actual trip through the national park was stunning and very informative. The tour guide was very funny and engaging. Thank
