Great for a half day trip. Spectacular views of the volcanos and salt flats. The bathing in the Laguna Sejar was a great experience. Photo opportunities with the salt lakes, lagoons with a backdrop of the Andes - volcanos. The guide Ricio was so knowledgeable in all aspects of flora and fauna and driver Morisio? laid up a table of cocktails and snacks. Much appreciated and would recommend for a half day trip

We had a fun afternoon particularly at the Cejar lagoon. The eyes of the desert were a little underwhelming but the salt lake/pan was very interesting. The afternoon was topped off with the excellent ‘snack’ (so much more than a snack) and the fun and engaging tour guide Alexander. (I think!). The organisation was also excellent right from booking which is more than can be said for other organisations in San Pedro.

A nice way to spend the afternoon while in San Pedro. The water was nice as well as the picnic that we had later at Los Ojos. Thanks

A nice, relaxed tour that allows you to see beautiful sights and experience floating in a lagoon. An afternoon well spent. Also, great guides.

The tour was fun. I liked that it was only a half day so we still had free time during the day to explore the town. You start out with swimming in Laguna Cejar, which is a fun experience. You float so easily and the water is refreshing. The only downside to this part of the tour is that the workers at the laguna rushed us a bit, which made everyone kinda stressed, trying to get out of the water and rinse off quickly. We then stopped 2 more times to see other lagunas that you could not swim in. We were also given some snacks and juice or pisco sour. The tour guide gave us information about the lagunas as well. Just make sure to wear sunscreen after swimming because the UV is no joke.

Excellent experience; the visit to the lagoons are stunning and getting into the water and admiring the Andes mountain range is priceless. Excellent snack after the tour, fully recommended this experience.

The guide was excellent and conducted the tour fully bilingual. Overall was a very leisurely pace. The first two stops were nothing special and honestly would’ve preferred to skip them. We had a wonderful snack break and then headed to the Cejar Lagoon - so cool! The company also provided robes for when you get out of the salty water. Floating in the lagoon was almost magical — too bad the body can’t handle staying in for more than 30 minutes! Great value, especially relative to renting a car and doing on your own. The tour company was excellent and communicated well on Whatsapp and in their office in town prior to the tour.

The trip was so fun. Everyone on this trip was happy about it. Swimming in Laguna Cejar was an amazing experience. Watching beautiful flamingos made you feel you were a part of nature. The guide, Alex, was nice, experienced, and knowledgeable. The snacks and drinks were a great plus. I highly recommend Whipala Expedition, the tour company that organized this trip. They had a clear instruction for the trip and communicated with me timely. I even added more trips with them during my stay in San Pedro de Atacama. Their staff were professional and respectful. I enjoyed all the trips very much.

Our group had an amazing time on our tour. Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. There was a delicious food spread at our stop and the highlight of the trip was swimming in the Lagoon Céjar. We saw flamingos and had a nearly empty lagoon to swim in for 30 minutes. The tour even provided bath robes to use after the swim.
